As the sun rises in the east, Linx steps out of his rather luxurious home. It was a two story in the cabin style, with three other floors below the ground. Made of timber he'd cut himself, it had taken him awhile to build. He had a wide deck spanning the house, with a good sized workshop off to the side where he worked. A large window let the sunlight stream into his living room, revealing the staircase leading to the second floor where he had his bedroom and study. No electronics could be seen because they didn't interact too well with him, but that hadn't bothered him yet. He had running water and carefully crafted lights, it was good enough for him. He steps lightly onto the balcony outside the master bedroom, sunlight filtering in from the skylight above his bed and he gazed out across the snowy mountains around him. Winter was rolling in, and business would be dying down.
He smiled as the thought struck him. It meant he'd have many nights sitting by his fireplace reading, or watching the snow fall outside his window with a cup of cocoa in his hands. His home was placed in the center of a clearing he'd made himself almost twenty years ago through a lot of hard work, surrounded by towering redwoods. A light covering of snow lay on the ground below him, creating the kind of scenery you usually see reserved for paintings. He could hear the animals in the trees beyond, and could occasionally see the odd squirrel go flying high in the canopy overhead, and it brought a smile to his face. He turns back inside, closing the sliding door behind him. He remained bare foot, dressed in jeans and a simple black silk shirt. While at home, he didn't mind indulging himself in little luxuries as he fireplace roars to life as he slips into his kitchen.
Within a few moments, the aroma of coffee could be smelled throughout his home as he returned to his living room, taking a seat across from his fireplace, his couch a rather unique item. All his furniture had been made by his own hands and upholstered expertly, extremely soft and comfy. He sinks into it as he reaches for a book off the pile beside his couch, sipping his coffee and simply enjoying his morning.

"why am I doing this?!" the female yelled to no one as she made her way through the dense trees. the sun rose a while ago and she knew that it was some time in the morning. why was she doing this again? oh right because some guy she met in costa rica. not to mention he burned down the entire hotel they were staying at. yeah this made perfect sense. this was so frigging stupid. the female had been wandering through the forest but thankfully she wasn't lost. somehow some way she knew exactly where she was going. she had other motives than for just showing up to see him. she wanted to yell at him for just walking out on her and leaving her on the cold floor of the abandoned building. she was a little upset about that. ok maybe a little more than upset. she was pissed. pissed enough to go up to his cabin and find him.
. as she wandered through the forest, she could hear the animals starting to stir and move around in the forest. she was just hoping that something big wouldn't show up and attack her. she never liked to fight against animals. let alone the big ones. the female mumbled to herself as she sliced a path. ok so the trees were getting thicker. was this a little ridiculous or was she going crazy? as she stomped her way through the forest, one of the branches beneath her feet gave out and she slipped and crashed to the ground. there was a pop and she snarled a few curse words to the sky. "FUCK YOU LINX!" she bellowed getting up and nursing her ankle. fuck. she had twisted it. now it was going to be hard to walk on. not to mention she was covered in mud. mud! he better appreciate what she was doing for him because this was getting out of hand.
. grumbling to herself, nat finally found a clearing. and when she said clearing she meant it. this was a huge clearing that looked man made. a grin spread across her face as she saw the cabin in the middle of it. very interesting. so hermit boy really did live all the way out in bumfuck. she was kind of expecting to get lost and die out in the woods. she hadn't thought that he'd actually be all the way out here. "nice place" muttering to herself, she hobbled her way up the steps and right to the front door. she didn't even knock. she pounded on the door. "god dammit linx I hate you!" so much for looking nice when she came to see him. she looked like shit.

As the first hammering of sound thundered across his room, Linx poked his head up over his couch. Strange, with the seasons snow coming down, and indeed it was as he could see out his window, most people would wait till spring or even summer to come request a blade. How odd. Ah well, the supernatural community wasn't exactly normal. He sighs lightly, having been looking forward to a nice and relaxing day. Muffled shouting echoed from outside and he frowned. Why would someone be shouting at his front door? That was just stupid. His enchantments kept the words from being heard inside, and from the words inside being heard outside.
He steps over to the door, straightening out his shirt as he went, his bare feet silent on the wood beneath him as he sighs once more, wondering what kind of crazy lurked outside the door this time. He smoothly opened the door, ready to deliver his surliest blacksmith scowl, but imagine his surprise when instead a dirty and wet Natala whacked him in the face! He stumbles back as his jaw drops, one hand on his face from where she'd accidentally hit him. "Na...Natala! What the hell!?" he sputters, more than a little taken back at her sudden appearance on his door step.
His face suddenly splits into a wide grin as he steps up to her, wrapping his arms around her in a tight hug. "It's good to see you." he says softly as he holds her tightly against him. He was sure she was upset with him, but he didn't care. When he'd had to leave her, it had been more difficult than it should have been for him. He'd grown attached to her in the short time they'd known each other. He finally releases her and pulls her inside to get her warmed up. "Lemme guess, pissed at me for leaving?" he asks with a light smile as he shuts the door behind her, showing her over to his couch as he quickly disappears into his kitchen and returns with a second cup of coffee for her. She'd find it much warmer inside his home with the fireplace going, rather than the falling snow outside. He frowns as he considers that, a quick glance at the skylight confirming his suspicions.
"As happy as I am to see you, you should go after you've said your piece. The winters come hard here in the mountains, and you'll end up snowed in." he says, secretly hoping she'd stay with him. The winters got cold and lonely in the mountains, with no business to speak of and just Arioch for company. Not that he was much company in the winter, he practically hibernated to await warmer seasons when Linx would be out more. He takes a seat next to her on the couch, legs folded beneath him as he watches her, eyes alight with happiness at the thought of seeing his only real friend again, not quite wanting to admit that he had feelings for her beyond that of a friend.

"oh my god! linx I'm so sorry!" she was going to continue apologies but he pulled her into a hug. a hug? eh? a deep blush crossed over her and she honestly forgot why she was made at him to begin with. his embrace was very nice and warm. she could get used to this. the cold air seemed to brush along her spine and everything came flooding back. he had left her in costa rica. left her on the cold floor of an abandoned building. sadly, he let her go but he ushered her inside. wow what a nice place he had. everything was so warm and well crafted. this was honestly surprising to see from him. grinning she accepted the cup and took a sip and almost choked. "I'm sorry. I don't really like coffee but thank you for offering me a cup." nat smiled apologetically. she didn't mean to be rude but she really hated coffee.
. "oh I am beyond pissed at you for leaving me. beyond." the female muttered settling back on the couch to give both of them more room. he seemed different. much more open here than in costa rica. she saw his attention go to the sky light and she laughed a bit. "well I checked the weather before I ventured up here and according to them there isn't supposed to be any snow storms or anything." nat smiled but knew for some reason that wouldn't be true. it was snowing pretty good. wonder why she hadn't noticed on the way up here. a shiver ran through her and she scooted closer to the fire trying to gain it's heat. only for a brief second was she worried about getting his couch dirty, but then she figured he didn't mind. he seemed pretty happy she was here to begin with. the thought made her blush slightly as she folded her knees up on the couch as well. she had taken her shoes off as to not track anything inside.
. sitting there looking at him, she almost forgot why she had come all the way up her to begin with. but then it came back. damn what was wrong with her? why was she forgetting things like this? stupid linx. "yeah thanks for leaving me in costa rica you jerk. I'm sorry for almost killing you and all but you kinda almost did the same thing to me so I thought we were even. I woke up and you were gone. you know I wouldn't have cared so much if I hadn't been left sleeping on the cold hard ground of an abandoned frigging building!" nat yelled at him. partially joking and partially serious. she hadn't wanted him to leave her. she actually wanted to get to know him better but he disappeared. "so I decided to hunt you down and yell at you for it. you really live all the way out in bumfuck. and you made me hurt my ankle ya jerk!" her face was blank but her eyes were glittering with mischievousness. was she flirting? oh god did she really come all the way up the mountain to flirt?

He sits through her tirade in silence, his face serious. Those that told stories of his blades also told stories of the smith himself, and it was said that Linx had the greatest poker face on earth. Not once had anyone been able to read anything in it that he didn't wish them to. As she finishes and huffs into silence, he throws his head back and laughs. After a few moments he composes himself, still smiling brightly at her however. "Meteorologists don't know anything. I've lived in these mountains my entire life, and a storm is on it's way." he said as the snow started coming down harder outside, already piling up to an inch thick.
He sighs as he addresses her next concern, "I'm sorry, but it was safer for everyone. I...I didn't want to leave you Nat." he says softly as he lowers his eyes away from hers. "Arioch had did something new, and I needed to be sure that if it happened again, no one else would be hurt." he says by way of explanation. It was the truth, every word of it. He raises his eyes to her, smiling hesitantly at her. "You're cold, dirty and wet. If you want, go upstairs and shower, I've got hot running water and some clean clothes you can wear. We'll both feel better than." he says with another slight smile at her. His clothes didn't have a lot of variety, but what he did have was silk, and a lot of it. It was strong fabric for bandages, and extremely soft to the skin, plus more than a little fire resistant. Additionally, if he had to dress up to visit an important client, he didn't have to worry about having just one nice outfit that constantly needed washing.
He collects her cup, almost brushing against her as he does so, and takes it to the kitchen, draining and rinsing it out before placing it on the side for later use. He steps back into the living room with a medical kit he had in his kitchen, moving over to sit in front of her and on the floor. He smiles up at her again as he opens it, "Now hold still, I'm gonna fix your ankle." he says as his hands gently take hold of her leg, pushing back her pant leg and examining her ankle. His fingers brush lightly along her skin as he examines her, before a light azure glow spread from his fingers to her skin, mending her ankle with ease. It wasn't as bad as he'd thought, so he closed the medical kit and beams up at her. "Better?"

"ow fuck." the female sat back on the couch and sighed. great now she couldn't walk very well. nat was about to say that she couldn't shower because of her foot but linx grabbed it. she shivered as his fingers brushed her skin and the light blush crossed over her face again. linx did something but she didn't know what exactly. all of a sudden her ankle was better. there was no throbbing pain from her ankle anymore. "um thank you. I appreciate it." the female smiled and leaned forward giving his forehead a small kiss.
. before he had time to react, she got up and headed off in the direction of the bathroom. thankfully she had guessed the right room and it was the bathroom. it it wasn't the bathroom she probably would have been thoroughly embarrassed. closing and locking the door behind her, she quickly got undressed realizing just how cold she was. the shower was very warm and comforting. god it felt much better than being out in the cold. nat made sure she got every little bit of the mud off of her. the water was practically scalding hot and she didn't mind the least bit. after what seemed like forever, she finally got out of the shower and wrapped a towel around herself. no way was she going to put the dirty clothes back on. he had offered her some of his clothes and she was going to take some. much to her luck there was a bedroom attached to the bathroom. rummaging through the closet, the female found a pretty large button up shirt. oh silk. this was nice. she tried on the pants but they were just too big for her. great pantless it was.
. slipping back into her bra and undies, she put the black button up shirt on and grinned. well he didn't have half bad style after all. walking out of the bedroom, the female laughed a bit. "hope you don't mind but I'm keeping this shirt." she teased. thank god it was long enough. the shirt came about mid thigh so she was pretty much covered on the whole no pants thing. though she could have snatched a pair of his boxers she didn't want to be too weird. by the time she had gotten out of the shower there was a decent amount of snow on the ground and it looked like it was showing no signs of stopped. "awesome. looks like I'll be heading back down when the storm breaks. um how long do these things usually last?" nat questioned lounging on his couch. "and don't think I'm going to forgive you that easily for leaving me in costa rica." nat stretched out on the couch grinning at him. he invited her into his house so she was going to enough herself. besides he had a nice place. it was better than being stuck out in that storm going back down the mountain side.

His face turns a light red as she returns before he quickly turns away, forcing his thoughts to her question. "Oh well, uhh...about mid spring?" he says with a light laugh. He falls silent as he stands before his window, watching the snow piling in. He had to go out and cut more firewood, and he'd wanted to practice in the open air, but the training room in the lower levels would work just fine he supposed. He sighs as he raises a hand to his mouth, falling away to reveal a cigarette at his lips. A slight snap of his fingers lit it as his hands went back into his pockets.
His mind was trying to figure out why she wasn't wearing pants. Something simple to focus on and keep his cool head. Thank god Arioch was asleep, otherwise this could get very awkward. The pants too large for her was the most liable explanation, yet why hadn't she taken a belt then? Maybe she was...no. He refused to go down that road of thought. He turns back to her, his body slim and refined in the sunlight behind him, eyes unreadable once more. "You're welcome to all the hospitality I can offer you until you decide to leave of course, my home is as yours." he says with a smile at her.
Hoo boy, it was certainly going to be an interesting winter with a roommate. Luckily, his supplies were always well stocked for the winter, so he never had to go for food or drink. He also had a stockpile in the lower levels he could access if he needed it, but he doubted he would, or wanted to. They were all non-perishable foods like rations and canned items, so he really didn't want to eat them. He was used to his real meals and while he'd be fine with going to standard rations, he doubted Nat would want to. Which reminded him, he hadn't yet had breakfast.
"Go ahead and make yourself comfortable, I'll make some food for you." he says with a light smile, moving past her and into his kitchen. He lit the stove, an old wood burning type since electricity didn't agree with him, and started making some fried eggs, hashbrowns, bacon and toast. He set some water to boiling off to the side to make her a cup of cocoa, and soon enough, their breakfast was ready and he was walking out with a plate on each arm, and a cup in each hand, smiling at her. "Nothing against cocoa and an all American breakfast I hope." he says with a smile, holding out an arm for her to take her plate and drink.

"sorry I couldn't find any belts small enough for my waist. and I didn't want to go through your boxers or anything like that. so I ended up without pants." nat muttered softly. might as well throw it out in the open. she knew that he had noticed. why wouldn't you? she had great legs. absentmindedly she ran a hand along her leg. yes for hairless, she mused to herself. his words though cut through her train of thought. "wait mid spring? oh my um I hope you don't mind my staying here. I'm sorry I didn't know the storms would last that long. aw crap. I'm so sorry." now she felt even worse. not only had she tried to kill the guy, but she made him destroy a building and now she was going to be stuck in his house all winter. not thinking about it she pulled her knees up to her chest and rested her chin on them. she was such a terrible person.
"look when there's a break I can head back down the mountain. I'm sure I'll be fine. I don't want to be a burden to you." as she spoke the words she realized she didn't want to leave. even if she was stuck in here with him all winter, she wouldn't mind so much. the female smiled a little bit and watched him walk into the kitchen. maybe he wouldn't mind having her here with him all winter. the sweet smell of food filled her nose and her stomach snarled. the same embarrassed blush crossed over her face again. god she was so pathetic. smiling softly, the female accepted the plate and settled cross legged on the couch. oh cocoa yum! nat took a few bites of the food and sunk even further into the couch. "this is so good! god you cook and clean, you'd make the perfect house wife." teasing him, nat picked up her cup of cocoa and smiled even more. this was absolutely delicious!
. the female let a silence fill between but it wasn't uncomfortable, it was actually nice. nat finished her plate and set it down only to pick up her cup of cocoa. this was actually pretty nice. "so what do you do over winter while you are stuck in here? doesn't it get lonely?" she murmured but then regretted it. she was pretty blunt at times and she hated it. but maybe she'd get some answers out of him. especially if they were going to be stuck in a house together for all of winter. nat cradled her cup of cocoa enjoying the warmth it gave her. "sorry i don't mean to be blunt and rude. we are potentially gonna be stuck together for a while." she gave him a soft smile as she finished off her cocoa and put it back on the table. "god that was good. I haven't had something that delicious since my dad made me food." she joked putting her feet on the ground and running a hand through her hair.

He waves away her attempts at a plan to leave. "No, the mountain passes are deep, and a white out can hit suddenly, leaving you buried alive beneath the snow. It's too dangerous, and I don't mind the company." he says as he works his why through his plate. "And don't worry about the pants, it just took me by surprise." he says with a light smile at her. It was more than a little enjoyable for the virgin hermit, but he was damned sure not going to say that out aloud. As they chew their food in a companionable silence, she suddenly asks another question, one that sent pangs of three decade old pain through him.
He clears his throat, looking away from her and out the window. "Yes, it does get very lonely some nights." he says softly, still not looking at her. "Eventually, you learn to live with it, and it just becomes another part of your life. Out here in the mountains, there isn't a lot of visitors, even in the summer, unless I'm being hired for a job. Even so, the clients usually aren't great company." he says with a shrug, turning his eyes back to her, smiling gently. "I've been alone all my life. I never had any friends or family besides Arioch. I was abandoned before I could walk in these mountains, and only Arioch kept me alive. It's been almost thirty years now, and you're the..." his eyes widen as he realizes what he was about to say and looks away again.
"But it doesn't really matter I suppose. I get by just fine." he says with another shrug. He sighs and looks away, quelling the pain rising within his chest. It hurt, not knowing who his parents were, but knowing they hated him so much that they were willing to cast him to the wolves, quite literally in this case. It hurt not having friends, a girlfriend, no one. If not for Arioch, then he'd be truly alone. He finishes his plate and his drink and returns them to the kitchen, leaning against the counter. He pummels the pain back into it's place, locking it away in the furthest corner of his mind before returning to the living room, a light smile on his face once more as he slides to a sitting position on the floor.

"look I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you sad. I was just honestly curious. god I am batting a thousand at making conversation." nat joked trying to lighten the mood because the air suddenly felt heavy. "well guess I'm going to have to improve my people skills if we are both going to be here together. no need to make you sad or piss you off." the female beamed at him as he walked into the kitchen. the moment he was gone her smile seemed to fade a bit. this was going to be rough. she was really going to have to cap it on the stupid questions. especially ones that will make him get all sad again.
. when he came back from the kitchen, he seemed to be in a better mood but his eyes still held that haunting look to them. an idea struck her and she grinned. linx settled on the floor in the living room and she used that to her advantage. with ease she got up off the couch and walked over to him. she crouched down in front of him and hugged him. the motion knocked the two of them over but she didn't let go. after a few moments she finally let go and sat up straddling him. "look if we are going to be together in this house for winter, then you are going to have to be in a better mood. you won't be lonely this winter so cheer up. I'm not gonna have a grumpy roommate." nat laughed running her fingers through her hair before she sat back on the ground in front of him. ok so that was a little much but she just wanted to make a point. she'd be better with the questions and comments and he should try to be in a better mood. no emo roommate for her.
. grinning nat finally got up and walked around the living room. she tugged her shirt down to make sure nothing was showing. "so how about you show me around this place? and did you build this or did it come like this? because this is one nice ass house." the female commented giving a long whistle. this place was really nice and she was going to enjoy staying here. wonder where she would stay at? he's probably got a couple extra bedrooms around here. or maybe he didn't. this place looked a little bigger on the inside than the outside. kind of like the tardis from doctor who. that would be funny if he was a timelord. though he probably wasn't, but one can hope. spinning around she turned to face him again. "so what ya say? and um where should I sleep? I don't mind the couch I like couches to be honest." nat smiled at him, her fingers laced behind her head bringing her shirt up a little bit more.

He eyed her warily as she crouches in front of him, pointedly keeping his eyes fixed on hers, before she wraps her arms around them, knocking them both over. As she sat on top of him lecturing, a brief flare of irritation washed through him. Who the hell was she to decide how he needed to be in his own home? She couldn't even begin to imagine the literal and metaphorical hell he'd been through in his life. She had it easy! A father that loved her, the freedom to travel wherever and whenever she wished. Friends, family, everything. What did he have? A blood thirsty, genocidal demon locked within and bound to his own soul.
Abandoned as a child, no friends, no family. Everyone he'd met had tried to kill him at some point or another, why the hell should he have to hide in his own home? He sighs as she climbs off him, standing up and adjusting his shirt on her as he keeps his eyes averted. As her eyes roam, he steps up behind her, slipping his arms around her waist and holding her tightly. "Thank you, and it's alright." he says softly, still not letting her go. Eventually he lets his arms loosen, but remain around her waist, smiling lightly. "I built it almost twenty years ago. Well, Arioch and I did at least." he says with a shrug.
"It took awhile, but it was worth it. As for where you can stay, you can take my room. I'll stay in one of the guest rooms I built on the first floor here, and before you say anything, I insist." he says with a laugh. He leans his head against her, wondering what in the hell he was doing, still holding onto her. He steels his nerves as he turns her to face him in his arms, raising a hand to cup her cheek, his thumb moving lightly against her skin as he stares into her eyes for a moment before he lowers his head, gently pressing his lips to hers, kissing her softly as he holds her tightly. After a few moments he breaks it off, resting his forehead against hers, his eyes still closed. "Thank you, for being here with me." he says gently, not quite wanting to let her free yet.

"twenty years ago? and you built this yourself holy crap! you really are the perfect house wife." she teased him again not wanting to look back. maybe he just wanted to hold onto her. that was ok she usually didn't mind that. actually she didn't mind him holding her at all. it felt warm and comforting. she hadn't been held like this in a long time. her blush had just finally started to fade away when he turned her around to face him. the blush returned even more when his hand cupped her cheek. what was going on? her eyes widened slightly as he leaned in towards her. the moment his lips met hers her face went a complete deep red. he had kissed her? what?
. it wasn't a bad thing it was just surprising. the kiss wasn't anything forceful, but soft. she kissed him back just as softly. when he finally pulled away she smiled softly. "don't worry about it. if this is how you treat your house guests I really don't mind." nat grinned teasing him a bit. maybe she would tease him a bit more. linx still had his eyes closed and she couldn't help but grin. the female lifted his face up a bit so that her lips were barely touching his lips. close but not close enough to touch them. her hands traveled up his arms and wound around his neck as she pulled him closer. her lips met his and she kissed him this time. though unlike his sweet little kiss she added a little bit more to it. this was an actual kiss which she held for a few moments pulling him closer to her. nat made sure there was no space between them. her fingers toyed with his hair a little bit before she pulled away and completely slipped out of his arms.
. a sly and mischievous smile crossed over her as she backed away from him. "so how about seeing the rest of this house? I'm really interested in finding out what you have hidden here." nat couldn't help but grin. ok so maybe it wasn't nice of her to make out with him like that and then pull away. but she was doing what she did best, being a tease. fingers twined behind her back, the female spun on her heel and started to wander. she found a hallway and decided to see what was down it. from what she could tell there were a few rooms with stuff that wasn't interesting. boring. she wandered back into the living room and found the staircase she had seen earlier. deciding to find out what was hiding up stairs, she started up them. this house was pretty nice for being built by one person. much to her surprise the upstairs had a study and a bedroom. could this be his bedroom? she passed by it and made her way into the study. she'd investigate it later.

He smiles lightly as she pulls away and bounds off to explore his home, chuckling lightly to himself. So this was the game? Well, two could easily play! He lets her wander before putting to use the skills he'd learned in his life, his bare feet absolutely silent as he followed her up the stairs, matching her stride perfectly and remaining hidden behind her. As she steps into his study, he strikes. Slipping his arms around her and spinning her about, his hands locked hers behind her back, holding her against him with a light smile. "Tease." he says accusingly, his eyes laughing as he leaned in and kissed her again, careful to not let his grip slacken and free her accidentally.
When he breaks the kiss off, he smiles at her. "I dunno how I treat my house guests dear, you've been the only one I've had." he says with a smile, winking at her. He moves his hands quickly, putting her back to his chest once more as he slips his arms around her waist again, leaning his head against hers over her shoulder. "Not much to hide really. The upper levels are where I live, the levels below are where I work during the winter and they hold the materials I need, as well as emergency supplies and training areas." he says with a shrug, seeing no reason to hide anything from her.
He kisses her cheek as he rests his chin on her shoulder, "My study is used for just that, studying. I sometimes take business calls in here as more often than not I can get a phone to work well enough to use. Any other questions? Or should I show you the rest now?" he says with a smile, as he slips his hand into hers, leading her across the small hallway to his bedroom. His bedroom was rather on the large side. A massive skylight lay above the bed covered in silk sheets and blankets so he could watch the stars at night, here where they were so much brighter than in the city. The room was basically lined with bookshelves, and every subject could be found somewhere in this house. It doubled as a blacksmith and library, which was good enough for him. A door lay across the way from the bed that led out to his covered balcony where he could enjoy the cool night air and the brilliant moonlight, backed by the sounds of the forest.
He smiles at her again, "Any other questions? Or does that satisfy you for now?" he asks with a playful nudge, slipping an arm around her waist again, holding her to his side. "It's really not much, and there isn't much to do out here, but it's quiet and peaceful. It's very relaxing, and the stars are brilliant and clear this far from the city. It's really quite beautiful out here." he says with a warm smile, giving a gentle squeeze of his arm.

"tease? me? why I am appalled you would accuse me of such a thing." she teased and gave him a wink. once her arms were free she was turned around so her back was to him again. maybe she could get used to being manhandled like this. it was actually refreshing for a change. "the only house guest? well I am very honored to be your only guest." nat grinned and kissed his cheek as she twined her fingers with his. a girl could really get used to this. "well you have a lovely home and I'm glad you have nothing to hide because then I might get a little concern." the female teased him a little bit more.
. she let him lead her to his bedroom, which was odd because she never thought she'd ever let a guy do that to her again. "sorry about asking so many questions. I like to know who I'm going to be snowed in with. because you know this happens all the time. it's all part of my plan you see. to get snowed in with you and win you over." the female grinned giving him a playful smile and a wink. his bedroom was actually nice. there were books everywhere and the huge skylight above the bed was really awesome. "I wish I could see the stars out here. I'll bet they are really bright." nat muttered pulling away from linx and looking at all the books. "wow you have almost every book here! that's kind of awesome!" the female exclaimed letting her fingers brush over the binds of the books. she loved to read when she had the chance, but she never had the time to go to the library. perhaps she would have to read some of his books especially if they were going to be here all winter.
. after she walked along his bookshelves and looked over all the books, the female flopped onto his bed. "wow nice bed. maybe I won't feel so bad taking over your room then." she grinned at him giving linx a wink. the female stretched out a bit on his bed and rolled around on the sheets. she was having fun and this bed was comfy. once she was done being a little kid, she laid back and looked out the skylight. even though the sky was cloudy and the snow was falling heavily, it still looked pretty. she cold only imagine what it looked like at night. rolling onto her stomach, nat faced linx and gave him a mischievous grin. "I know why you don't have many people here, because you have such a nice house. I wouldn't want to share this place either. it's like your own little escape, but everyday. I would love to be able to be away from everyone. there's just too much that I'm supposed to do. you have so much freedom." she trailed off the last couple sentences more talking to herself then him.

He smiles as he watches her, trying to keep his eyes from noticing the fact that the shirt she was wearing was beginning to ride up on her. He smiles at her again, chuckling despite himself. "Well, a golden cage is still a cave. I just try to make myself as comfortable as I can to try and ignore the fact that I hole away here for the protection of others. And besides, would you really kill for a place like this? A poor choice of words, given your company." he says with a laugh. It truly was too. A murdering genocidal demon resided within him, he literally had killed to have this place.
He glances up at the skylight above them, happy that he'd worked out the enchantment to keep it clear from piling snow. Judging by the look of things, it'd be a clear night, with almost a foot of snow on the ground. "And don't feel bad at all, I really don't mind. As I've said, you're welcome to all the hospitality I can offer you." he says with another smile at her. He takes a seat on the bed next to her, resting up against the headboard of the bed, legs stretched out before him. He was going to miss his extremely luxurious bed, the only piece of furniture that he'd bought, but it was worth it to have the company.
He closes his eyes as he relaxes against his bed, falling into his usual habits of a post meal nap. He always woke up early to eat breakfast, then went back to sleep for a couple hours before getting cleaned up and ready for his day. As it stood, it was only six or seven am, so he had a full day ahead of him to spend with Nat, and it looked like a good few months as well. It certainly seemed as if it would be interesting. Maybe he'd even dig out the electronic gear he had in storage for her to enjoy herself. He felt certain she'd go nuts with nothing to do but read and talk to him.
