. her hotel room was quite ridiculous. it wasn't even a hotel room it was actually a suite. a huge ass freaking suite. the female dropped her bag on the floor with shock. good god, her dad was spoiling her. laughing a bit and shaking her head, the female quickly went around the room and looked everything over. this place was amazing and her dad had out done himself. the female quickly changed into her swimsuit and threw on a little dress over it. the swimsuit was nothing special just a small black little thing. the cover up wasn't anything big either just a small white dress. grabbing a sun hat, the female waltzed out of her room smiling happily. the sun was shining and the skies were clear. there was no way she was going to miss an opportunity like this one. waving to the nice people in the hotel, she stepped out into the open air and took a nice deep breath. the wonderful smell of ocean and salt filled her nose and lungs and her shoulders dropped a bit.
. as she made her way down the beach, the female noticed that there weren't nearly as many people here as she hoped. ever since the war not many people went out vacationing. it wasn't like there were battles going on now, but you never knew when they would start up. a small grin crossed over the female as she found a secluded part of the beach. no one could see her or bother her over here and that was how she liked it. so this little vacation had a second purpose to it but her dad didn't need to know. setting up a towel and pulling off her cover up, the female looked out over the ocean. it was a beautiful brilliant blue almost reflecting the color of her eyes. a small blade glistened in her palm and she grinned. "god if anyone ever saw this. I'd have a lot of explaining to do." the female laughed and sliced her palm. blood flowed but it didn't hit the ground. instead it floated in the air in front of her. the blood shifted and turned blade like and she grinned again. "perfect."

A brilliant and sunny day in Costa Rica. "God help me, why did I agree to this?" the silver haired man mutters to himself, striding through the lobby of a ritzy hotel. The man stood with confidence, standing at just over six feet tall, silver haired and eyed. His body was muscled and tan from long hours working at a forge under the sun. He wasn't the sort one would expect to find in an upper class hotel like this, and he clearly stood out, making him more than a little uncomfortable. Thankfully, most the people were staring at a woman with pink hair, easing the pressure off of him. He sighs to himself, mentally pleading with the second soul within his body. 'Please Arioch, don't try to guilt me into these kind of things again. You know I'm uncomfortable around people.' he whispers mentally. A responding chuckle echoes in his brain as his passenger awoke. 'Here already? Excellent. Maybe we can finally find you a woman Linx. You've been holed up in those mountains for almost three decades now, it's about time you got out and about. Besides, I'm not guilting you into anything. We both could use a vacation afterall, working for years as a blacksmith, while an insightful learning experience, isn't exactly what I consider a good time.' Arioch replies.
Linx sighs, knowing his arguments to be useless. Despite being a demon soul encased in his own body, he had to admit that Arioch wasn't as bad as people made demons out to be. If not for him, he'd have died many times over the past twenty eight years. Still, that didn't make this any easier on him. He had wealth, power, and more than a slight degree of fame as the worlds greatest blacksmith, but that was all mostly Arioch's doing. Linx himself was just a quiet mountain hermit that enjoyed his easy going life. Arioch was the one always trying to get him oout and about. This time, it involved a vacation to Costa Rica. He shakes his head as he steps up to the check in desk, the receptionist looking at him in a mixture of mild dislike and skepticism. "Hi there, um...reservation, under Linx?" he says hesitatingly, his voice soft and quiet, at odds with his powerful frame and build. The receptionist continues to stare at him for a moment before checking their registry, and ensuring that he was indeed a guest. After several moments, he calls someone over to show Linx to his room.
Shortly after depositing his meager traveling gear into his belongings and changing into his preferred clothes, Linx was standing on the small balcony he was allotted and gazing at the water before him. He was dressed in all black, fatigues tucked into boots, shirt tucked into pants. His short hair was hanging around his ears now, and he idly made a note to get it cut soon. He had a simple pair of daggers sheathed on his back, and a couple of guns at his lower back for emergencies. He didn't like fighting, but he'd had to before and would again if needed. Despite the war being over, danger was never far off. Thankfully, his renown and skill had earned him a measure of protection from the supernatural beings in existence. Everyone wanted a Valtieri weapon, as they were unanimously agreed to be the best on the planet. From guns to swords and everything in between, the items he made had never failed their owners. Each weapon was handmade and tailored to a specific client, so people from the world over would travel to his mountain home to have him craft a weapon.
His silver eyes clear as he shakes thoughts of work from his mind, before setting out through the lobby, heading for the beach. His boots sink into the soft sand as he heads to a semi isolated corner of the beach, away from most the other people there. He didn't do well in social situations, though he was a perfect gentleman and a master of courtly etiquette. He sighs as he sinks into the sand, the wind blowing his hair across his face and he idly brushes it away, another being on the beach grabbing his attention. It was the pink haired woman from the hotel. The one with the massive suite many floors above him. He knew because Arioch knew. Whatever he didn't pay attention to, Arioch did and relayed it to him, so he was never caught unaware. Linx himself had a small and simple room some few floors below her, opting to pay the little extra for the private balcony. Despite being immensely rich, he didn't like to be the center of attention or make a fuss. He just wanted to enjoy his peaceful life style. He watches as she draws a simple blade across her palm, before crafting a weapon out of her own blood.
Arioch was immensely interested, physically and mentally. He found the woman quite attractive, and she used a technique neither of them could perform, so he naturally wanted to go right over to her and introduce himself. Linx reigned him in with a mental effort, a tug of war of sorts between them, and sits quietly in his shady spot. He didn't do well with women, he'd never really had the chance to interact with them and was perfectly fine keeping to himself. Besides, Arioch would just get him into trouble. Instead, he analyzed the blade she had made. "Interesting, don't you agree Arioch? It's not very practical though, is it? I mean, you need to use your own blood to create a weapon, whereas a physical blade of good steel or silver would be much more effective and reliable." he whispers out loud, doubting anyone would hear him or think him crazy, he was fairly confident no one had that good of hearing. No human anyway. 'Are you serious kid? Here I am, thinking of the important things like companionship and getting you laid, and you give her the rating from the Russian judge? Hell, I raised you better than that!' the demon whispers sternly in his mind.
"Russian judge? What, argh...not even worth the effort. And I don't care about those things Arioch, you know that. I'm happy just helping people." he responds, much to Ariochs dismay, who wailed inside him at the death of sin everywhere. Linx merely smiles, recognizing one of their many rituals as he leans back against the tree, closing his eyes and folding his hands in his lap, casting a quick glamour to hide his weapons from passerby to not arouse any trouble. It wasn't like he was going to hurt anyone, he just needed to be able to protect someone if trouble started. He settles into the sand comfortably, back against the trunk of a tree as his eyes shut, drifting into a relaxful meditation, listening to the wind and water around him.

"fuck. why is this so difficult." it really wasn't a matter of being difficult but she didn't want to tap into her demon blood to gain the full strength she needed. if she was going to control this blood she was going to do it right and on her own. flopping down on the ground, she pulled out a small bottle of orange juice and downed the whole thing. the female sided and threw the bottle back into her bag.
. would she ever be able to do it? could she continue to kill demons without turning into that creature? it wasn't so hard but she kept running into the strong ones. also word of her and her abilities was getting around. every demon she ran into knew exactly who she was and what she was capable of. it was getting harder and harder to control their blood because they made sure she couldn't mix the two. scowling somewhat, the female laid back on her towel and opened her palm. a bit of blood flowed out and into the air. she made it dance and take on shapes. a bird. a tiger. it was a little show before her eyes. the ring in her belly button caught light and shined a bit. huh she had forgotten about that. there was a twinge on her awareness and words filled her ears. scanning the area the female found a man with silver hair? silver hair? what was he like old or something? she couldn't help but laugh a little at the sight, but it wasn't him who caught her radar. was it?
. usually she only notices when demons are around and from what she could tell he wasn't a demon, but yet her mind told her otherwise. brushing it off, the female rolled over and drew a little bit in the sand hoping to ignore the man. maybe he was just one of those creepers. hopefully he hadn't seen anything with the blood. last time that happened she was rushed to the hospital. a light blush crossed over her face at the thought. god that had been embarrassing. a little hard to explain too. after a few moments, she noticed he was just sitting there and she couldn't tell if his eyes were open or not. growing slightly annoyed, more at the fact she couldn't play with her blood than anything, the female pushed herself up on her elbows. "so are you just going to sit their like a weirdo and watch me or what?" she called across the beach to the silver haired man. from what she could tell he didn't look old, but the hair was really throwing her off. who has silver hair. come on. only old people do.

As the words echo across the empty space between them, Linx's eyes flutter open, slight panic entering him. Weirdos? What? He looked around the beach before realizing she was talking to him. "Um, excuse me? I'm not staring...I was just meditating..." he says in response, averting his eyes. Damn it all to hell, he was almost one hundred percent certain Arioch had something to do with this, but damned if he could prove it. 'Arioch! What do I do!? Help me!' he whispers frantically, causing Arioch to erupt in laughter at him. 'Ok, chill. Let me take over real quick.' he replies. Before waiting for Linx to say anything, he abruptly shoves him to the side of their consciousness as he takes over, rising from the sand and brushing their clothes off, trudging over to the woman.
He smiles as he reaches her, offering her a courtly bow. "My apologies. My name is Linx. Unfortunately, I don't get out much so when confronted by a woman of your beauty, I find myself at a loss of words." Arioch says smoothly, Linx wailing inside their head. Arioch was more than happy to take control of the situation, leaving Linx free to run and hide. At least in his opinion that's what he did, realistically, Linx was just nervous. "If I may, would you allow me to join you? Or perhaps you'd wish I take my leave of you?" He doubted she'd send him off, unlike Linx, Arioch was charismatic and charming. At least he thought so, he rarely was turned down. Especially when he amped up the mysterious factor to the both of them.

"uh sure i don't mind." she stammered a bit as she sat up fully and looked him up and down. wow he was pretty good looking. he actually looked pretty young and she was surprised. "my name is natala or you can just call me nat." she smiled showing slightly pointed canines. the moment she realized they were showing she closed her mouth and blushed slightly. "eh sorry." sitting up all the way, the female retied the back of her swimsuit and threw her long hair up into a ponytail. the sun wasn't too hot but it was warm enough to make her warm. something tugged at her awareness and it seemed demon flared on her radar.
. the female brushed the thought to the side and looked out over the water again. a small grin spread across her face as her palm opened and a little bit of blood pooled in her hand. it moved and danced in her palm mimicking the waves of the ocean. her eyes grew distant as she played with the blood in her palm. it was almost a natural reaction and the moment she realized what she was doing the blood vanished instantly. her face went a bright red and her eyes went scared. "I um....sorry about that. It's a natural reflex when my thoughts wander." she muttered the words embarrassed. wrapping her hand back up, nat laid back and put her hand on her face. "what a day. bet you didn't plan on finding some freak with pink hair that makes herself bleed. some vacation." nat laughed a little looking up at linx. he looked very attractive from this angle and she didn't mind letting her eyes wander over him.
. the sun had moved from it's original position, not much but enough for her to notice. farther down the beach though it seemed more people were gathering. the weather was positively beautiful and she didn't blame them for wanting to get out and enjoy it. "so what brings you to costa rica? I'm personally on vacation because my dad decided to spoil me rotten." she mumbled the last part laughing slightly to herself. her dad was crazy and with the amount of money he has spent on her, she could probably buy a few giant houses. no one would really believe he was a horrible demon feared among others. he treated his daughter with so much love and affection it was ridiculous. the female spaced out looking over the water. it was so calm for this time of day and relaxing. she didn't mind just laying out like she was. a soft smile crossed over her again and she played with her earrings in her ears.

Arioch smiles at her, "Your beauty is indeed only bested by your graciousness my dear. It is an honor to make your acquaintance." he says as he smoothly folds his legs beneath him to end in a sitting position, turning his face so that half was in shadow with the other lit by the brilliant sunlight. Mostly he did it to make himself look cool, but he gave a half smile as he recognized it could easily symbolize the duality between the two souls within the body. He smiles again as the breeze swings by at the perfect moment, causing his hair to sway with the breeze as he stared out across the water with a pensive look on his face. Oh yeah, Arioch knew how to strike a pose.
He takes note of the sudden movement, noticing her command the blood that had pooled in her palm with interest, even Linx fell silent within their head as they both studied it. As she blushes Arioch smiles at her again. Smile #238, the I find it quite intriguing and you more attractive by the second smile. "It's quite alright dear, we all have our own little quirks do we not? There's no reason to be ashamed of who you are, the complexity and individual eccentricities only add to the beauty of the piece." he says with a light laugh. "And don't call yourself a freak my dear, as I've said, there is no point into being ashamed of who you are. You're a beautiful young woman, take pride in that fact." he says with another brilliant smile at her.
He turns his gaze to the water again, a half smile playing along his lips. "I myself am on vacation as well. I've decided to take a break from work in order to enjoy the world we now have. Tis a wide world full of wonder and beauty, we should enjoy it while we can, wouldn't you agree?" he says with a light smile. He inhales deeply, before reaching into his pocket and pulling out a pack of cigarettes, looking at her inquisitively. "Do you mind? A bad habit I'm afraid, but it's part of who I am." he explains with another brilliant smile at her. Arioch at least was beginning to enjoy this vacation immensely. Linx however...was another story. He was silent as could possibly be, mind racing through every possible scenario that could happen, what could go wrong and how to fix it.

"well I am a freak. I also have a lot to be ashamed of, so everyone tells me. but then again who gives a rats ass." the female laughed bitterly, pulling her knees up to her chest. she rested her chin on her knees and played with her toes. when he pulled out a cigarette, she grinned a bit. "I won't mind so long as I get one." nat laughed snatching one of his cigarettes and lighting it up.
. she pulled on the cigarette and the smoke curled out from her lips. "never completely enjoyed smoking but every now and then is good." nat smiled at him and just kind of sat there and enjoyed the silence between them. company was always nice. especially when it wasn't trying to kill you. the thought made her laugh slightly and she stopped herself from looking like a fool. "so you work eh? what is it you do? hmm let me guess something along the lines of hard labor? you don't seem like the working out kind of guy and you don't get muscles like that without working out or working hard." nat laughed bumping him a bit with her shoulder. oh god this was embarrassing. did she really just do that? oh this is pathetic. really really pathetic. she kind of lapsed into a silence after that. the only sound being the ocean and the seagulls cawing above. boy she wasn't as good at this as she thought she was.
. "how about we hit the bar? my treat? the beach is getting a little too crowded for me." she admitted tucking another stray strand of hair behind her ear. pushing herself up to her feet, nat stretched her body to it's full five foot ten inches. after her nice stretch, she tugged her swimsuit back into the right places. her eyes scanned over the beach as she snagged her cover up. "I could use to company." nat flashed him one of her sweetest smiles. it wasn't on she used very often and she didn't even realize she was using it until after. the female slipped her cover up on and patted out all the sand want what not. she re-wrapped her wound so no blood slipped out because then she'd be tempted to try and control it. a huge wave crashed onto the shore and it drew her attention. huh guess the water is getting a little on the rough side.
. without waiting for his response, the female headed off to the bar. it was back by the hotel she was staying at, but that wasn't too far. pulling her ponytail out, the female shook out her long pink hair. ok so maybe she over doing it with the flirtatiousness, but who cares. she was having fun. once she got to the bar she ordered a drink, something simple but hard. perhaps she could get some alcohol into her system for once. a guy wandered up next to her and stopped when he saw her. "well hello there." he grinned putting an arm around her shoulders. "gross get off me." nat shrugged the man off and moved away but he was persistent. this time he wrapped an arm around her waist to pull her close. "don't worry babe I'm nice." he purred and she still tried to push him off but he grabbed her wrist. ow that actually fucking hurt. her eyes flashed for a second to a lighter shade of blue. "let me go!"

Arioch smiles as she continues to speak, more than a little pleased with himself that he'd gotten her to open up a bit. Now, if only he could make the transition back to Linx and not let her notice, he'd be set! Unfortunately, she'd probably recognize his own bumbling attempts at socializing. He tunes back in just to catch the end of her question, hesitating as Linx relayed it to him, "I'm actually absurdly rich. My work is deciding how to spend my money each day." he says before heaving a dramatic sigh. "It's such hard labor I had to work out to handle the load." he says with a grin. Linx railed against him for the half truth, despite Ariochs claims that no one would be impressed by a blacksmith of all things. Even if he was the best in the world and everything from human to would be demi-gods wanted a weapon forged by Linx. Rich playboys on the other hand were far more desirable.
He smiles as he rises to his feet with her. "A cold drink on a sunny day does seem like an excellent idea. I'll be happy to pay though. A lady should never have to buy her own drinks afterall, what else are we gentlemen to do otherwise?" he asks with a gallant bow to her, laughing as he rose up. He follows along happily as he lets her lead to the bar, stepping off for a moment to order his own drink, a One Winged Angel, something he found fitting given his demonic form of late. For some reason, whenever he fully controlled their body and shifted into a demonic form with his magic, one of his wings was missing. Perhaps it was Linx's influence rubbing off on him. His damned movies affected his subconscious, and thus naturally Arioch. As he turns back to his companion, he notes the man surrounding her.
He smiles lightly as he steps up, tapping him on the shoulder. "Excuse me sir, but I do believe the lady, oof!" cut short abruptly by a fist, Arioch was momentarily stunned and rocked back on his feet. Linx took quick advantage of this to retake control of their body and his silver eyes flashed with a cold anger. His hand shoots out to grab the others wrist, pulling him towards Linx as the both spin in a circle to place the man between the door and Linx, who added a second spin to put the mans backside to him. He quickly lifts his heavy boot and blasts it between the mans shoulder blades, using much more force than he'd intended as Arioch's fury surged through him. Instead of sending him stumbling out the door like he'd intended, he accidentally blasted him through the wall next to it head first.

"let me go! your hurting me!" the female growled trying to pull herself from the man's grip. just as she was about to punch him in the face, the man decked linx. "holy shit linx!" her eyes glowed a deep red and her nails turned slightly claw like. she was about to go full out feral when linx practically kicked the man through the wall. hell yeah!! in an instant her eyes flashed back to normal and she walked over to linx. nat was just about to congratulate him on a job well done, when a familiar smell filled her nose. wolf musk. her eyes widened that guy he had put through the wall was a werewolf. usually when there is one there is more. three more guys brushed passed her and aimed for linx. oh shit what had they started. she rushed forward to join him but two guys grabbed her arms and lifted her up off the ground.
. the guy linx had thrown through the wall came sauntering forward. he looked a little pissed but at the same time you could practically smell his excitement. the bar had cleared out and even the bartenders disappeared. obviously this pack was well known in the area because no one wanted to stand up to them. "I am not some prize to be kept let me go!" she exclaimed thrashing and trying to free herself from the hold of the two werewolves. they just grinned and gripped her tighter. shit that hurt. she was definitely going to have some bruises from these two idiots. the blood from her hand started dripping on the ground and she resisted the urge to do anything with it. no need to draw their attention to her anymore then necessary. the alpha walked up to linx along with his three other friends. oh come on how was this even fair? it's four against one! "you guys are cheap! four against one is a stupid fight!" the yelling earned her a punch in the gut which promptly shut her up.
. ok so maybe she could get away from one guy but not with the way the two of them were holding her. the wound from her hand started bleeding quite a bit and it dripped onto one of her captors. "what the fuck. why is she bleeding?" he loosened his grip a little bit and that was all she needed. spinning herself a little bit, she popped her shoulder out of place but managed to get out of their grip. drawing the blood up around her hand, she made the equivalent to a brass knuckle. the blood solidified and she punched the fatter one in the face. the taller one lunged at her and she kicked him in the side of the head in an attempt to get away. not seconds after that they tackled her and slammed her into the ground. the taller one grabbed her hair and pulled her head hard. "ow! that fucking hurt!" nat growled eyes glowing red as the blood beneath her moved and became blade like. it sliced at the two men but they refused to let her go. so much for not showing the world her ability.

Linx smiles as his eyes flash crimson, melding deeper with Arioch. He ignores the advance of the man he'd just put through a wall, instead reaching behind the counter for a bottle of whiskey, taking a long draw off the bottle. "Well now, it seems this is a decent vacation afterall!" he said, their twin voices weaving in and out of each other, giving an eerie and surreal feel to the scene. A slight chill fills the room as Linx takes another draw off the bottle, time seeming to slow. He smirks as he raises the bottle for another pull, pausing before he did so. "You're right Nat, it's not fair. He needs at least another hundred on his side before it's fair." he says with a smile worthy of a demon. Filled with malice and an unholy glee, he spews forth the high proof alchohol across the three men approaching him, a single snap of his fingers turning a spray of good whiskey into a cone of flame fifteen feet wide at it's end. The sudden rush of flame and heat caused an explosion of sound as the air around them rocketed up in temperature, causing the windows to shatter and all with supernatural hearing clutch their heads in pain.
But wait children, that's not all! Yes the super charged hell fire would roast flesh from bone if he so chose, but this was merely a painful distraction. The real party was about to get started. He let more of Arioch's energy infuse their body, his fingers elongating into sharp talon like appendages, twin black feathered wings erupting from his back, his eyes glowing a bright and eager crimson as he laughed. Laughter that could chill the soul of a very god itself cascaded from his throat, and no one would ever believe the soft spoken human capable of the sound. His hands lash forward faster than lightning, tearing out the entrails of the two flanking him, a quick twist of his wrist spinning their own intestines around them before he races hell fire along the inside of their organs, burning them from inside out as his wings blast forward, launching them through the walls and sailing to burn to ash in the sky beyond.
Flames dance around his body as he laughs again, an almost hysterical note to it as the leader tries to flee. However, never once in his lifetime had prey escape Arioch, and with Linx it had been no exception. With an almost lazy motion, he grasps the scruff of the mans neck, talons digging into his flesh as he arched his back in terrible agony. He smiles as his fingers tweak the nerves along his spine, delicately control him like a puppeteer, making him fall to his knees before him. "I know not who you were, nor do I care. All that matters now is that you're but another corpse in my wake." he says with a cold laugh as his fingers plunge in deeper to wrap around his spine before tearing it out With an easy motion of his powerful, demonically charged form. A rod of flames could be seen in the massive gash he'd caused, a replacement spine before it starts burning his brain away layer by layer, leaving him to writhe in agony before consumed by the flames and reduced to ash.
The flames licked lightly along Linx's body, cleaning away the blood and residue of the former gang, his body shifting back to it's normal form. His wings folded in and faded, his eyes gradually changed back to a silvery sheen, and his hands once more were the rough and calloused hands of a black smith. He smiles hesitatingly as he steps over towards Nat. "Are you alright? I"m sorry you had to see that..." he mutters, more than a little embarrassed. Perhaps she wouldn't run screaming from the room, call him a freak or try and kill him. He hated letting people see that other side of him, even Arioch agreed that it was a form best kept hidden, though it allowed him access to the greater portion of his demonic power. Ah well, couldn't be helped now.

"linx! linx are you ok?" she called heading towards the flames but had to draw back from the heat. shit where in the world was he? hopefully he was ok. after a few moments she didn't hear anymore fighting. what was going on in there? and then all of a sudden he was there. but he didn't look like linx. he looked like a demon. and it wasn't just that he looked like on, but every fiber of her being was screaming demon.
. this guy was a demon! how could she have missed it! her eyes flashed to a deep red and her hair lightened as she stepped back a bit. the blood from her hand floated in front of her acting a bit as a shield. "you're a demon? how could you hide that from me? I sense every kind of demon." nat asked the fear slowly disappearing from her voice. her right arm was completely useless but her left one was functional and she used it to form the blood into small blades. her nails lengthened a little bit and turned claw like. she actually felt bad about doing this but she had to kill him. any demon she ran into that posed as a threat she had to kill. he had just killed six weres in a matter of seconds. that constitutes as a threat. shaking her head, the female looked down at all the blood from the weres. a few drops of her own blood and suddenly a hundred more little blades appeared. "thanks for killing those weres for me." the female grinned showing pointed canines.
. within seconds of getting the extra blood, she lunged at linx using the blood blades to attack him from almost every angle. she wasn't going to hold back at all. after that little display of power, she'd be lucky if she could take him down. nat moved away from him sending a kick towards his middle. her senses and abilities enhanced a little bit but not a lot. she had only the blood to rely on. it danced and moved everywhere around him slicing and cutting him where it could. sure it wasn't anything like a blade's slice but it would hurt regardless. sweat broke out on her brow as she used more blood to fight against him. ok so maybe blood wasn't the greatest weapon of choice but still it would work. she had the weres blood and her own so hopefully she wouldn't pass out as quickly as she usually did. hopefully anyways.

Naturally. She tried to kill him. He sighs as flames roar into life with a weary snap of his fingers, burning away the blades she tried to use as a weapon against him, a wave of weariness passing through him that he had to brace himself against a wall as he oozed aside to avoid her physical attacks. He shakes his head as he forces himself to stand, staring at her, his eyes hard. "Fine! You know what, I don't need this! I save you and what do I get? Another freaking attack! To hell with all of you, I'm staying on my damned mountain from now on and all the rest be damned!" he rants, throwing up his hands and walking away from her before turning to look over his shoulder, both voices weaving together once more as raw fury raged through their body.
"And god have mercy on your soul demon, if you should try to attack me again. I won't be content with simply dismissing your attack. I shall destroy you so utterly that your name will only be remembered in myth and legends of the darkest hells and tortures." he says with an unearthly cold voice. He stomps out of the bar, moving up the stairs and into his room, shoving his meager belongings into his bag. "To hell with you Arioch. You always get me into these damned situations and I'm sick of it. Why must I constantly be hated and attacked for what I am?" he demands of the empty room and the demon inside him.
Arioch empathized with the poor man, more than a little hurt and depressed himself. 'I'm sorry Linx, you know I am. I understand how you feel. Because I'm a demon, that's all ever people saw when I held a physical form of my own. Despite being antithetical to my own race, no one ever looked passed that to see me for what I was. Because I was a demon, I was to be feared and mistrusted, hunted down like an animal to be slain in the name of self-defense.' he says, and his words abated the storm of emotions within Linx who sank to his floor in exhaustion.
"I'm just so tired Arioch. Why must we always be feared? With the supernatural community at large now, why can't things change?" he says as he draws his knees up to his chest, resting his forehead on them. "I just want it to end." he whispers softly, sorrow in his voice. All he'd wanted here was a vacation, maybe the chance to make a friend finally. He'd been alone except for Arioch his entire life. His parents had abandoned him in the mountains, and if not for Arioch he'd have died there. He sinks deeper into himself, his own defensive mechanism as it were. Arioch retreated from his mind, giving the boy his space. Despite his age, he was still practically a boy. He'd never had a chance at a real life, and probably never would. People like them were just sought for their use to others. No one was ever interested in them besides their need for a weapon, unless it was to try and kill them. He genuinely felt sorrow for his host, and it galled him to admit it.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, border-radius: 1em; -moz-border-radius: 1em; background-image:url(http://i53.tinypic.com/5n84rs.jpg), width: 400px; height: 400px;] Sometimes I wish for falling, Wish for the release I’ll dance with myself, I drunk myself down, Found people to love, Left people to drown, I'm not scared to jump, I'm not scared to fall, there was nowhere to land, I wouldn't be scared at all… . her eyes widened as he simply deflected the attack. deflected it. usually demons get somewhat hurt by her attack but he deflected it! the fear seemed to worm it's way back inside of her and she too a step back involuntarily. his threat didn't seem to help much. everything seemed to just melt away. her eyes returned to normal and her nails went away. the blood dropped to the ground and she dropped to her knees. he was upset she had tried to kill him. but he looked normal now? the demon presence seemed to flow back into him. could he be a human and a demon? the female opened her mouth to apologize but the words wouldn't come out. he was a demon wasn't he? or was he human? what was he? he was different like her, but what exactly was he. her fear turned to anger as he stormed off and she scoffed. "yeah because you have life so fucking easy!" she called after him as he walked away.
. want to talk about a pity party? oh she had plenty of room for two in her pity party. half demons get no love. in fact they are spat upon. so if he wanted to compare life stories she had plenty to give him. growling, she pulled herself up to her feet and attempted to headed to her room. "just fucking great." her shoulder was still out of place and her palm wouldn't stop bleeding. carefully she wrapped up her palm, and she headed towards the elevator. the guy behind the desk gave her an odd look and she just waved him the best she could as she slipped inside the elevator. a thought crossed her mind and she stopped the elevator before the doors closed. hurrying nat went to the front desk and exchanged a few words to the guy behind the desk. he looked at her oddly and handed her an envelope. the female gave him a soft smile before running back to the elevator and going up a few floors.
. after a long moment of thought, she stopped the elevator on the floor a few below hers. this was stupid. completely and totally stupid. he was gonna be pissed she even tried to do anything at all .it's not like she can explain what happened. he probably wouldn't believe her anyways. it was like a reflex and her body naturally made the decision to try and kill demons. completely lost in her thoughts, she didn't even realize that she had ended up by his door. taking a deep breath, she raised her hand to knock at the door, but then decided against it and set the envelope outside his door. "this is stupid." the female muttered turning and heading back in the elevator. she went back up to her room and closed the door. stupid stupid stupid. with a little effort she popped her shoulder back into place, but it hurt like a bitch. crying out, she bite her lip against the pain. her palm had finally stopped bleeding.
. this was shitty. super super shitty. he better accept the money in the envelope. ok so paying for his room probably wasn't the best idea, but what was she going to do? walk right up to him and say hey I'm sorry for almost killing you? I didn't mean it? maybe he'd get mad about her trying to pay for him? maybe he'd see it as a sorry? god too many questions. nat felt light headed and flopped down on the couch. she was a complete wreck. this was ridiculous. half demon or not she should have some sense of control. she should be able to not kill someone who saved her life. god she overreacted a little too much sometimes. maybe she would go back down stairs and talk to him. perhaps he would understand? she quickly jumped in the shower and put on some clean clothes before she headed down the elevator and back to his floor. alright so she wasn't going to run away she was going to try and explain it to him.

The sound of foot steps outside his door drew him out of his reverie and Linx rose to his full height, his eyes seemingly truly made of steel instead of just coloured like it. His hands deftly slipped his guns from their holsters, thumbing the safeties off as fury welled up inside him. As the foot steps hesitated and retreated, fury gave way to curiosity. He slipped one of his guns away, keeping the one tucked against his body, as far back from the door as he moved towards it cautiously. His free left hand reached out to open his door as he quick stepped back in case someone was waiting for him. He frowns as he notes the envelope, the scent of money on it, mixed with the scent of Nat's blood. He sighs as he shuts his door. Great, pity money. Just what he needed.
He sighs as he sinks onto his bed, shaking his head lightly. Why did he even bother? Normal people confused him. It would take a greater man than him to figure out a demoness' mind. As a light rap at his door sounded, he sighs again. Great, she was back. Best to get this over with. He holsters his weapon as he goes to answer the door. "Look, sorry about the...shit," he throws himself back as Arioch screams mentally at him, flinging himself across the room and onto his balcony as his door bursts inwards, several demons quickly charging in. 'Dammit! I let my damned guard down! Arioch, what the hell is going on!?' he mentally fires off as he tries to free a weapon.
It was too little too late however, as the demons engulfed him. A torrential burst of destructive energies leapt forth from outstretched hands as words of power were bellowed out in a savage cacophony. The energies melded and blasted into Linx, hurling him out into the open air as he screamed and writhed in agony, his body unable to change and defend itself. As his consciousness was fast fading and the powerful assault began to abate, his mind shifted into overdrive, and he fell deep within himself, commanding Arioch's power to answer his call. A sudden explosion marked the spot he'd been sailing through as a howl of fury and pain melded together, rising higher and higher, deafening the beasts within his room as they tried to take wing to continue the chase. The roar was painfully debilitating to anything with supernatural hearing, and from the smoke cloud emerged a true nightmare. No longer was it the perfectly melded man and demon that had so recently fought within the bar below, this was something else.
Blackened armour covered his flesh, seemingly his skin itself. Eyes glowed with a crimson light that nothing could be seen of the silver orbs within. His hair flowed to his waist, unbound and gleaming silver that gave off it's own reddish hue. A massive greatsword was clenched in one gauntleted fist as the demon above them roared in triumph. "FREEDOM!" the beast that had been dormant within the man bellowed. And free it was, for this was Arioch unbound. His wings spanned twenty feet easily as he hovered in the air, black flames enshrouding his body as he laughed, long and loud, straight from the pit of his belly. Death, had come to Costa Rica.

"I'LL SLAUGHTER YOU ALL!" she roared after hearing them blast linx through his room. pushing off the ground, nat flew into the room and started fighting against the demons. she didn't know what happened to linx but right now all she wanted to do was kill. and kill she shall.
. the demons were too worried about the cloud of smoke in the air. she didn't care. she wanted blood and lots of it. fangs bared the female tore at the demons blood flying everywhere and attacking them like tiny blades. she managed to get a few of them down but she didn't care. linx was thrown out of the building and these fucking muts killed him! "I'LL KILL YOU!!!" the female roared again pushing the demons back with her blood. the amount of blood that was in the room was ridiculous. she was able to fight off these demons without a problem. but some wave of power washed through her and even the demons stopped. emerging from the smoke was something that terrified her to her core. the female had practically cut the number of demons in half, but she could feel the drain on her body. the demons tried to run in terror but her blood held them in place and left them at the mercy of whatever creature had emerged from the smoke.
. as the female tried to escape her body was weakening. the blood was falling away from her and everything was fading back to the way it was. her shoulder was acting up again because of being dislocated earlier. nat landed on her feet as she tried to run from the beast. she was terrified, horrified even. something told her to run and she was going to listen to it. a slight sting from her side brought her attention down for a second. much to her dismay there was a clean and even slice on her side. great just freaking great. as she ran the hallway seemed to get longer and longer and it seemed to sway and move. "no fuck not now come on." other people poked out of their rooms at the noise and she hurried them out of the building. they needed to get out. hell everyone needed to get out. as she was approaching the stairs to get out the wave of exhaustion hit her hard and dropped her to her knees. she tried to stand over and over again but her body wouldn't respond to a thing she was telling it to do. darkness blurred the edges of her vision and she tried to stay conscious but she couldn't fight it anymore. after dragging herself to a landing, nat finally gave in and passed out hand clutching her wound.
