behind the curtain
Hey. You can go ahead and just call me Brysin, or Sin, which ever fits! I've been doing this thing for Five Years now, and that's out of the sixteen I've been on the planet! If you need to get a hold of me, just hit me up on my email at: baseballer05@gmail.com. I promise I won't bite!
it's the beginning
TEST OF TALENT:
Skye happily accepted the semi-cold juice and took a few swallows as he listened to Rita talk. He hadn't meant to upset her, he hadn't even thought about it. It hadn't been too long since he'd stopped closing the door for her nearly every time she came home, so he wasn't used to it quite yet. "No, no! Don't be sorry, I'm the one who should apologize! Once that was settled he watched her pick up the bacon, wrapping her leather hands around it. That made him sink into thought. He remembered the first time he'd ever met her. He was decked out in a leather style armor. His forearms, shins, shoulders, and chest were covered with the thick leather. It was only a couple weeks after he'd left the Shadow Slayers so he was still used to fighting nearly every single day of his life.
She had fought with him, thinking he was a hunter, and he had fought back. It was only his spirit bending that had won. He pulled her spiritual body from her 'real' body. She wasn't used to it so it had slowed her down, and he had communicated with her through his astral body, letting her know she was a friend.
As he came back to reality he noticed her staring and a sly grin came to his face. He had known she liked him, her astral body, as well as her real body, had told him. And he had liked her. Well, not really had, since he still did, but whatever. He also knew how afraid she was of hurting him, or anyone she cared about, and how she longed for a touch more than anything. Once again he came back to the real world when she spoke. "...so what are your plans for the day?" she asked, and it made him think. He wasn't really sure, but he had a bit of a plan, so he told her, "Well, I was thinking, once Charles wakes up, that the three of us could go Hunter hunting. Or, if you want, we could just go ourselves. You know how he can sleep forever."

EYES: I’ve got ocean blue eyes that stay hidden behind sunglasses most of the time. That’s because when I work my ‘bending’ they turn black as onyx.
HAIR: His hair is thick and black. It stays in a fairly messy state most of the time.
HEIGHT: 6’ 1”
WEIGHT: 220lbs
BODY TYPE: athletic, curvy, what are you?
CLOTHING CHOICE: Clothes
WINGS: Though he doesn’t really have wings, or the ability to fly, he can cast the form of wings in shadow.
OTHER: He’s an extremely human looking person, with the exception of the black mark that extends from his left palm to his right ankle.
APPEARANCE: Brysin is a relatively tall man, who’s black, slightly messy hair, makes him look even taller than he is. His height to weight ratio makes him look slightly skinny, but that is often very misleading because of the muscle hidden under his many coats and sweaters. He’s a lean guy, working of any extra weight he may come across, and his arms and legs are solid as rocks. In simple terms he’s ‘tough as a brick shit house’. His ears and/or neck are always covered by the large headphones he wears, though they aren’t attached to anything most times; he wears them because the block out noise, and he likes the quiet. His body comes mostly from his work; being a freelancer he’s always running, climbing, lifting, and pushing. He tries to work out when he can, but the traveling tends to make that hard. He also runs every morning, no matter what, through rain, snow, hail, anything. If he doesn’t get at least two miles in he feels as if he’s failed, and that is a feeling he hates more than anything.

PERSONALITY:Laughs and smiles surround the boy as he walks into most rooms. He's calm around people, putting on a show, letting them see what they want, but later, when he's alone, or in battle, the true Brysin comes out. If winning means lying, or even killing, it is nothing to him. His confidence often gets in the way, and his lack of thinking when he should has come close to getting him killed on more than one occasion. Though it isn't shown often he loves those close to them, mostly meaning his sister and the Morrigan, though he knows he means nothing to her. When he is on an assignment he has eyes only for that, and that trait has gotten him farther than anything he has going for him.
this is what once was
BIRTHDAY: your birthday
PARENTS: Brysin was raised by his mother, Andrea, and his father Marcus. His father died in their first battle, and his mother died from wounds resulting from it.
SIBLINGS: His brother Brayden is still alive, but he hasn’t been seen by anyone Brysin knows in nearly two years, and his sister lives with him, though she isn’t quite as battle trained as him. She is two years younger than him, but just as cocky.
BIRTH PLACE: Brysin grew up in Virginia, in a hollow in the western mountains.
JOB: Brysin is a freelancer, performing acts of war and violence for those in need, though his biggest employer is The Morrigan.
HISTORY: The first, most common memory Brysin has is that of his mother and father, as well as his then baby sister, sitting in the living room of their modest home awaiting the return of his brother and himself. They returned, his brother limping badly, blood thrown over his own clothes. His eyes were black, he’d seen his reflection in a window. It wasn’t something he had ever seen before, but he knew why. His powers had just come to life, when he was but five years old. His mother and father were both Elementals, though neither were of the same form as him. His mother could control fire, and his father earth. He was the first of their children to show any signs of controlling any element, and later it was discovered that their other son would not, but their daughter would.
After that day everything was different. The people in their town treated him differently; as soon as people found out he became an outcast, but that didn’t bother him very much. He was already a loner, it just became a matter of being forced into it instead of it being his personal choice.
Their town was a neutral one, not supporting each side of the war, but still deep into werewolf country. Only two families in the town weren’t human, and one was a family of six vampires, so they tried their hardest to stay under the radar. He was only thirteen when the first battle began. Their home was on the edge of town, so they were some of the last to arrive. As his mother, father, and sister piled out of the car he followed, taking the lead even against their wishes. There was no lack of action that day, and when it was over, and his shadow sword dissolved in his hands, father was dead, his mother fatally wounded, and his brother nowhere to be found.
Days later, after his mother finally passed, he packed two bags, one for him, one for his eleven year old sister, and left not just Virginia, but the United States. Nearly three months later he found himself in the land of the Demons, and, unlike most humans, he and his sister were to be used for something more than food for the Morrigan. When he arrived in front of her he almost immediately became one of her soldiers, and has been that way ever since.
