France! Credo didnt know where to start! So many clothing stores and restaurants it made his head spin like wild. Planting himself on a bench, he carefully started to plan out his day. He considered everything in order to fit everything into his busy schedule today. The time it would take to get to these places, the distances, the parts of town, time of day, everything.
He peered down onto the map, seemingly burning a hole into it with his mind. Credo bit his thumbnail contemplating where he wanted to started today. France was a wonderful place, and full of opportunities and people. Perhaps today he'd start out with just clothing stores?
After spending nearly an hour taking in all his options, he pulled himself to his feet and carried on briskly to his chosen destination. The store's name was something in french of course, but whatever it was it sounded pretty damn fancy. Credo entered the store, instantly drowned in colors and fabrics. A tiny gasp left his lips as he rushed the teen clothing section. Fifteen minutes in and he already had 10 shirts, 6 pairs of jeans, and a couple of trinkets for good measure.
Lugging all of his new found treasures to the register, he dug the wad of cash from his pocket. French people were loaded. And less secure about their money too, meaning they left it out in the open at night. Not so much tucked away and safe like those other people. Which made Credo a very, very happy thief.
After loading up a couple of bags, Credo left the store extremely satisfied and ready to fawn over his new threads. He carried his load back to his hotel and put together a new combination outfit, strictly for his solo dinner plans he had for tonight. Pulling the map out of his other pants' pocket, he scanned over for that one sushi restaurant he spied earlier. He launched his finger at the red dot on the map and exclaimed to himself "Im gonna stuff my face full of fish tonight!"
He grabbed his room keys and exited the room, making sure it was locked behind him. He hummed a cheery tune as he made his way down the stairs and out of the building. Upon arriving at the sushi restaurant, he was seated and he proceeded to scan the menu. But he was too distracted by the cute little table and pillow he was to sit on. After a minute or two he got back to looking throw the selection of sea foods. "Yum, yum, yummy...", Credo mumbled to himself. The waitress asked politely what he wanted and he replied, "Shrimp sushi annnd... wasabi." And he wasn't done after that order.

. W . E . S . T . l . e . e . Oh, dear God, was he hungry. Walking down what remained of a small alleyway between two bakeries, West worried his bottom lip constantly. It had cost a lot to get to France, almost too much for him to afford. But he had called in some favors, twisted a few arms, and now he was here and he couldn't even pay for a meal without either going overbudget or putting himself on the radar as potential vampire/demon/werewolf bait.
"Ohoho," he muttered dryly, shaking his head. "Don't kid yourself, buddy: you're always on the radar. Always on the goddamn radar, and that's why you can't even buy a baguette in person. You couldn't even afford a baguette, either. You're in France. And you can't afford a baguette. Stupid, stupid, stupid..."
It wasn't exactly turning out to be a good day.
A week before, West had crashed from his constant high, slumping into a three-day melancholy during which he never left the traveller's hotel, never left the couch he was sitting on, and never once stopped eating candy. Yesterday, the sugar rush had finally stopped making him bounce off the walls. He had calmed down, got on a bus, and prepared to take a very, very long trip to France.
Today, he was being treated to a headache that had nothing to do with his occasional melancholy but everything to do with the bottle of vodka that had passed around the passengers on his late-night bus into France. Needless to say, the bottle had gone around quite a few times. It had made the trip much more lively and interesting -- and certainly more bearable -- but was making today a living Hell.
Most of the day went by uneventfully. West found himself really very hungry by dinnertime -- and, more importantly, found himself walking along a street full of restaurants that had apparently survived the damage. One in particular, a sushi restaurant with a big window in the front. As he walked by, he stopped in front of the glass pane and stared in.
Someone caught his eye. Credo. Rolling his eyes, West pivoted, hurrying into the restaurant. He liked to catch up with people he knew, and though he didn't know the demon all that well, he still qualified as an acquaintance. Besides, he might even get dinner out of it. Once inside the restaurant, the green-haired human nodded the maître-d' aside and waved awkwardly, trying to catch Credo's attention and hopefully an invitation to join him.

T he spirited young demon fiddled with his phone, texting people whom he had not spoken to in months since he left his last destination on the other side of the planet probably. A smile peeled across his face as a familiar name popped up. A sweetheart he had acquainted himself with a few days ago on his way to France. She lived no to far away too. Credo always had a problem with girls. When he wasn't looking they'd find him, and when he was, they were hard to find. But he didn't mind all too much. If a pretty girl was going to welcome him into her home, he was more than happy to oblige. However, most of the time they ended with Credo being too interested in himself or something else to care about his significant other. And if they treated him in a most undesirable way, he simply whisped away with pockets full of greens instead of depression. Most of the time spending it on clothes or shiny things. All in all Credo wasn't always the best choice to entrust your heart with. Although if one was patient with him, and gave him time, he'd be sure to treat them with all the respect in the world and probably give his body and soul for them. His sushi had finally arrived and he picked the chopsticks up, perfectly positioning them between his fingers as if he were born of Asian decent. Before eating he would always drench his sushi in soy sauce and proceed to smother it in the spicy green wasabi. The taste was amazing to him, but to others the overpowering taste of soy sauce and sting of the spicy wasabi would probably prove to be to much to continue. After finishing his first plate he ordered some more, and after he ordered a different dish. This time it was octopus sushi with vegetable fried rice. Indeed he had an interesting taste in food. Not to long after he flagged down the waitress for about the 7th time, he saw a familiar flash of green hair and flailing arms. He looked over to spy none other than West Lee. They met not to long ago in a small cafe in Italy, along with a special guest, Dimitri Addington. A well known Vampire among Vampires. What a night, who would have thought he'd run into West again? Credo smiled and laughed a little at West's trying to get his attention and finally paid it to him, waving back and signaling for him to join Credo. "Never thought I'd run into Notorious West Lee in France," Credo chuckled. "Here to catch a free meal?" he smiled and rested his chin on the back of his hand, supported by his elbow on the table. New clothes, dinner and a guest! . W . E . S . T . l . e . e . There was an awkward pause in between him waving and Credo noticing him, but West brushed it off cheerfully as the demon beckoned him over. It was nice to know that he hadn't left their relationship on a sour note; sometimes, he walked away from a rendez-vous feeling fairly sure that he'd made friends, only to find that those 'friends' were off looking for his head. He was, to say the least, a little oblivious when it came to things like that. As he approached the demon's table, West noted that he was dressed rather well. "Never thought I'd run into Notorious West Lee in France," Credo said with a smile.
West laughed, taking a seat without asking. Manners had never been his strong suit, really, though he was polite enough. "Oh, I'm 'notorious' now, am I?" It was nice -- in a sarcastic way, since it actually wasn't a good thing -- to know that he was getting noticed. "Little old me..." He raised his eyebrows dramatically. "How much I've grown."
"Here to catch a free meal?" asked Credo.
This made the human laugh dryly. He had been hungry all day today, ready to even pop in and nick a loaf of bread or something from a shop, and now here he was, being poked fun at by a demon that was clearly far better off in the world than he was. West wasn't stupid though, so refrained from agreeing completely. Instead, he cocked his head to the side, tapping his foot idly.
"Here to work, actually, and catch up with a few old..." He frowned and gestured at Credo, indicating that he wasn't quite sure what word described their relationship. "With people I know," he amended after a second and flashed a smile at his companion. He wasn't even sure there was a word for a demon and a human who weren't trying to murder each other.
"If free food is somehow involved, though..." He pursed his lips. "I'm not one to turn it down. Life's expensive and I am broke. But." West winked. "I don't beg, so I'm quite fine, too."
Leaning back in his chair, he looked over Credo critically. "You're doing well, then. I like the outfit. Very classy. Spiffy, even. How's life?" It was rather irksome that the demon was doing so well where the human had barely been able to afford getting from Switzerland to France. West made a mental note to ask Credo how he made his money; it certainly would be a useful trick to know.

Credo watched as West approached the table. He didn't mind much if he seated himself at the table without asking. Its what he wanted in the first place after all.
"Oh, I'm 'notorious' now, am I? Little old me..." West arched his brows and Credo chuckled at his sarcasm, "Several times I've heard your name whispered in the wind since I last saw you," Credo smiled again. "Its not often that a human can just single handedly ditch and dodge like you do." he said, shifting in his chair a little It seemed West was here on important terms. To meet with whomever for whatever reason. It made Credo sort of curious what type of business West was here to conduct. It was hard for him to conjure up any reason as to why though. Which made him sort of want to poke and prod the information from him slowly but surely. However he didn't want to seem rude and nosy. Doesnt mean he couldn't wonder. "If free food is somehow involved, though... I'm not one to turn it down. Life's expensive and I am broke. But." he said. "I don't beg, so I'm quite fine, too.""Im perfectly willing to share. If that's what you want. Im not going to spend this on anything but leisure." he chuckled again and gave West a sincere expression. It was true though, Credo had labeled West worth his salt as of right now. So he was willing to share his funds with him. He considered him an acquaintance, and very willing to become friends. Considering Credo was an easy person to befriend, West would be wise to take him up on his offer while it still stands. Chances are, its not going anywhere anytime soon though. Not until West proved himself not worth the trouble of helping along. "You're doing well, then. I like the outfit. Very classy. Spiffy, even. How's life?" The compliment made Credo smile big this time, "Thanks. Im doing great. Just bought some cool new clothes. And some other stuff. Now Im just out looking for something to do." he shrugged. "France is huge. Im bound to find something soon.Another individual emerged in the back of Credo's memory. Dimtri. He was curious as to the whereabouts of the Vampire Lord at this time. If West had encountered him since their last meeting in Italy. "So," Credo began, "Have you seen or heard from Dimitri lately? Im a little curious as to what he's up to these days." Credo's sushi reminded him he hadn't asked what West wanted. "Slipped my mind. West, you can have anything you want." , he offered while handing him the menu, tossing him another sincere glance before taking another bite of sushi. Notes: Curious Credo is Curious Tagged: West! . W . E . S . T . l . e . e . West smiled, a little flattered as the demon made a comment about how he had heard his name 'whispered in the wind' since they last met. It was good for the ego, hearing that you weren't unknown among the powers that be. Attention wasn't necessarily a good thing but that didn't matter. It also meant that Credo hadn't just forgotten him completely; West liked to think that he made an impression on people that they didn't get rid of easily. It didn't really matter what kind of impression it was.
"I've risen in the world!" he said not at all seriously. The only 'rising' he had done was when he had left Mexico for Europe and for a life that was, if not better, at least more exciting. That was as far as West was ever going to rise; he didn't want power, just a little bit of fame. Just enough that people knew his name. Winking at the demon, the human grinned. "But I could do with a meal, yes. Life's expensive, y'know. Besides, it's better to eat with a friend, eh?"
"Now I'm just out looking for something to do." The demon shrugged as West raised his eyebrows. "France is huge. Im bound to find something soon." It was strange how coincidence worked, he mused: that was exactly what he had come here to do. It seemed like he was running into Credo a lot -- already they had met twice, which was one more time than West usually met anyone without planning it. Life didn't provide a lot of time for socializing, though he did his best.
Leaning over and reading the menu upside down fairly discreetly, the human made a face. "Funny," he said mildly. "Well. Not funny funny but strange funny. Odd how that word keeps getting mixed up with its -- anyways I was going to say how it was funny, since it's the same for me. Had a job back up in, uh, Denmark, but got it done pretty quick." West looked up at Credo and rested his chin coyly on his folded hands.
It was odd, telling someone that, especially a demon. Usually he liked to keep close tabs on who knew what about where he had been and what he was doing, but as of late he was getting careless. Or just more widely known. Or just more reliant on his reputation to keep people away. He wasn't quite sure which. West had actually left Denmark and the surrounding area, just like he always did, because his name was out. That was what was so difficult about his way of life: once he finished a job or two, the whole area went on high alert, and after that happened, trying to stay longer was just suicide.
Credo asked, "Have you seen or heard from Dimitri lately? I'm a little curious as to what he's up to these days." West thought for a moment, then shook his head, blowing a puff of air up to ruffle the unruly locks of hair that had sprung free from the ponytail. Before he could respond, the demon added, "Slipped my mind. West, you can have anything you want."
"Thanks," he said genuinely. He didn't have a lot of friends in the world, at least compared to the number of people that wanted him dead, so little kindnesses were welcome. West did make note of the strangely large number of glances he kept getting from the demon. Since when, he asked himself silently, has West Lee been one to complain about cute boys looking at him?
Having looked at the menu earlier, he knew what to get. He flagged the waitress over, ordering what seemed like the biggest dish for a decent price -- he wasn't going to be rude and use up all Credo's money -- but without knowing what it really was. West would eat just about anything. That done, he turned his attention back to his companion. "Haven't seen him around, actually, though now I know him, I hear his name a lot more. I've run into his vampires a lot, however; they're always the ones that don't chase me off first thing. What about you?"

"I've risen in the world!", West said. "But I could do with a meal, yes. Life's expensive, y'know. Besides, it's better to eat with a friend, eh?" , he continued. It was so much better eating with company than alone and silently. Credo loved to talk, and solitude was not his thing. He never liked being alone, though he never did like people holding him back. But if West and Credo were to travel together, its safe to assume they'd both talk up a storm instead of getting work done. West continued on, explaining he had some business in Denmark. Credo couldn't help but wonder again, what sort of business West conducted. Perhaps... an assassin? It was probably his best guess, weighing the fact that West traveled very frequently and was constantly ducking and avoiding people. This is whats thought to be by Credo, classic "assassin ninja" behavior. He watched way to many action movie dramas to not pair the two labels together. But clearly, Credo should know the different. And he would definitely correct someone when they explained incorrectly. Thanks.", West said. Credo nodded and smiled again. He was smiling an awful lot tonight, he realized. He hoped that he wasn't creeping West out or anything. "No problem.", he replied. West scanned the menu quickly and made his choice. Credo fiddled again with his cell phone as West made his order. The girl he was texting earlier was a persistent little snot. Already five times he had told her that he was busy, and he was growing weary of her constant attempts of wooing him into her bed. The thought emerged in his mind, what if he were to show up with West...? What would she think? Oh the look on her face, it would be hilarious. He unintentionally emitted a chuckle without realizing it. And before he caught himself, West probably already noticed. How awkward... "Haven't seen him around, actually, though now I know him, I hear his name a lot more. I've run into his vampires a lot, however; they're always the ones that don't chase me off first thing. What about you?", Credo looked up from his cellular device turning his attention fully on West. "No, I havent seen or heard from him. And he's probably warned his boys not to screw with you." he sat up straight in his chair. "I dont know if he's told them the same about me. Im not often targeted." he smiled. He only pissed off the people that couldn't hunt him down afterwards. But then again, its extremely hard to pinpoint a shapeshifting demon's location when he could be anyone and anything around you. A rather uncomfortable feeling when your target could be your partner that you've been working with for the past month. Whom of which you've already accumulated a relationship in which you entrust your very life to. What happens then? One could only assume. And Credo could only laugh at the number of times this has actually happened with his past pursuers. . W . E . S . T . l . e . e . West flashed a smile in return, not even noticing how many times Credo had been doing just that. He was sociable, the demon was sociable, and that was that. Food was a more pressing matter than thinking awkward thoughts was. Of course, West wouldn't have any objections to anyone smiling at him a lot like that; his outlook on his own sexuality was that, being bisexual, you could sleep with twice the people.
In reality, he didn't sleep with anyone.
He got drunk, he went to clubs, and he put on a good show of having carved many notches in the bedpost. West didn't let people that close to him in reality, though he made a very good pretense of doing so by flirting and laughing. Many people responded to his quiet voice and maddening ego, some positively, some negatively, but most in fairly dramatic ways. Some wanted to sleep with him; most wanted to punch him. Some did.
Credo laughed, looking at his phone. West noticed it out of the corner of his eye as he ordered, frowning just a little. He found it rather rude for anyone to be texting while at the table with someone else and just a little annoying that Credo was concerned with texting some girl when the world was in the state it was. Part of him was just annoyed that the demon could afford phone service, too.
"So," he said a little awkwardly, resuming the position he had adopted earlier, with his hands folded and his chin resting on the intertwined fingers. "Are you doing anything tonight? I mean, besides dinner. I mean... I'm asking in a completely platonic way, here."
West frowned, a little flustered. That sentence had gotten away from him surprisingly quickly -- as soon as he had realized that what he had just said could be taken as an invitation for a date. Which was not at all what he had intended. And that wasn't sarcastic at all; he genuinely hadn't intended to make it sound like he was asking the demon out. So he was grateful when Credo started talking.
"No, I haven't seen or heard from him. And he's probably warned his boys not to screw with you. I don't know if he's told them the same about me. I'm not often targeted."
West frowned a little. "Do you mind me asking?" he asked, but didn't pause to let Credo reply, instead forging on. "What do you do in this ridiculous world? Because, honestly, I'd like to know how to make as much cash as you do. It was hard enough for me to get here, let alone afford a spiffy new suit and a good meal."

Credo let out a irritated side. The girl on the other end continued to pester him through an influx of texts that made him even more irritated. She just would not give in. He had told her several times he was busy with pressing matters in hopes that she would believe him, but she somehow knew he was wrong. He could just ignore her, but Credo hated ignoring people. It made him feel horrible when it was over something so petty. But in this case he would have to make an exception.
He turned the phone off and slid it into his pocket. "Im sorry," he continued, giving West a look of sheer apology. "Ah... This girl... She's being so obnoxious. I know its rude to be fiddling with a phone with company." he said, running a hand through his shoulder length, chestnut hair. It was a little unsettling that this chick knew everything he was doing in France considering the distance between the two. A little too unsettling. He'd just looked up to notice West making an awkward face. "Did you say something before?" Now he was even more nervous of tonight's impression of himself. Texting and fiddling with his phone, totally ignoring West it seemed like. He was hoping he hadn't upset West in anyway. "Do you mind me asking?", West asked. "What do you do in this ridiculous world? Because, honestly, I'd like to know how to make as much cash as you do. It was hard enough for me to get here, let alone afford a spiffy new suit and a good meal.""Simple," the demon smirked slyly, "If I want something, I take it. Mainly money, that is. Annnd if they have something nice looking, that too." he said bluntly. He wasn't ashamed of being a thief. He'd been doing it for years now. It was nothing to him. He never stole from the poor though. Only the rich snobby big shots who think nothing can happen to them. No one can get into their high security homes, protected by whatever this mad world can conjure up these days. Work wasn't his thing. He'd prefer just snatching up whatever pretties he can get his paws on without no one noticing. Of course thieves were looked down upon, but what can you look down at if you dont know who to look down to? Besides that, Credo loved watching guards get chewed out by their boss because his wife's fancy ring went missing and his vault somehow broken into. And no one was around to see it. "What about you? What do you do to have people so pissed at you all the time?" Notes: Thief!! . W . E . S . T . l . e . e .
West grinned as Credo said, "Ah... This girl... She's being so obnoxious. I know its rude to be fiddling with a phone with company." The look of sincere apology on the demon's face wasn't one he saw all that often, not among the people he kept company with, at least. Grinning the human shook his head, indicating with a flick of his hand that it didn't really matter. He was easy going about life in general, except work, which he took seriously, so texting at the table wasn't such a big deal.
"Did you say something before?" He cleared his throat and glanced at the tablecloth. "Oh," he said, managing to be simultaneously happy and disappointed that he hadn't been heard. Happy because he had managed to pose the question extremely awkwardly; disappointed for reasons that escaped him at the moment. "I, uh. I asked if you had plans. For tonight." West flashed a sheepish smile. "But I guess you've got a date with --" He gestured to the phone.
"Simple. If I want something, I take it. Mainly money, that is. Annnd if they have something nice looking, that too." The human shrugged. That actually made a lot of sense; he wasn't sure why he hadn't called it earlier. However, it wasn't very useful to him, even though he'd probably be a good thief, since he had never learned how to steal nor had anyone to teach him. "What about you?" the demon asked predictably. "What do you do to have people so pissed at you all the time?"
"I do whatever I want, really. Get offered a job that I like, I'll do it. It doesn't matter what kind of work it is. I guess..." West cocked his head to the side, thinking. This was a fairly common question, but somehow he never seemed to have the right answer. Sometimes he just said he was a freelancer; sometimes, a vigilante; sometimes, unemployed. However, none of the answers seemed quite right for the situation. "I guess you could say I'm a handyman. I do everything."
He paused in his description as the waitress came back with his food, placing it on the table in front of him. The human winked playfully at Credo before turning his attention briefly to the dish. Even now he didn't quite know what it was, but apparently it hadn't needed too much time to prepare. West waited to eat until he had finished his thought process, though, despite how hungry he was.
"The only difference between me and other handymen is that I do the crazy stuff." He waved a hand demonstratively. "You want to get out of the city and need a distraction? I'll make one. Want someone to kill Mrs. Vampire-next-door? I'll do that, too. Discover the plans for a werewolf raid? I'll even do that. Risk is my medium," he said with a laugh, "and it pisses people off that I'm so good at what I do."

Credo was relieved when West flicked his wrist and smiled, signaling it was really nothing. Usually people gave you a heard time just for little things like that. And there was nothing like someone constantly hounding you for something you did fifteen minutes ago. But he caught on that West wasn't the one for that sort of thing tonight. It was good to know West didn't Credo's unintentional rudeness earlier.
"I, uh. I asked if you had plans. For tonight." West smiled, "But I guess you've got a date with --" he made a gesture at Credo's phone. "What?" Credo said, furrowing his brow. But then it hit him that West meant the annoying human girl that insisted that they were soul mates through her flood of text messages. "N-No, No, God no. I'd sleep with The Morrigan before her. Seriously. This chick is fucking creepy." he continued, "She knows everything Im doing when I do it. I sincerely think Im being stalked. Other than that, Im not doing anything tonight.", he said as he rubbed his eyes. He was ever faster growing weary of this unrelenting feeling he was being watched still. He smiled at the fact West would ask such a thing. He'd much rather be with West than suffer the irritating fawning of some crazy chick. Credo had been stalked by crazed girls before, but nothing as creepy as this chick. This girl had snapped a total of 23 pictures of Credo within an hour. And she supposedly had them blown up and plastered all over her walls. Extremely creepish no? West's food had arrived, reminding Credo he had yet to finish his own. Taking up the chopsticks again and picking up a sushi roll. West went on to explain that he was a handyman of sorts. He liked the job and he took it, no matter how nasty. Credo thought that was a cool way to go about life. Maybe he would even consider it. He needed a little excitement in his life. His normal "take it and go" routine was growing a little old. And he was tired of being stalked by the undesirables. "The only difference between me and other handymen is that I do the crazy stuff." He went on, "You want to get out of the city and need a distraction? I'll make one. Want someone to kill Mrs. Vampire-next-door? I'll do that, too. Discover the plans for a werewolf raid? I'll even do that. Risk is my medium," he said with a laugh, "and it pisses people off that I'm so good at what I do."If that was the case, maybe he could relieve Credo of his stalker issue. He was sure West could scare the pants off her enough to leave him alone. Because obviously his attempts to shoo her off were futile. "Maybe you can help me get rid of this girl. I dont care how you do it. Just get her off my ass." he flicked his wrist in a shooing motion, signaling he wanted this chick gone any kinda way. Out of sight out of mind wasn't working at all anymore. "N-No, No, God no. I'd sleep with The Morrigan before her. Seriously. This chick is fucking creepy." he continued, "She knows everything Im doing when I do it. I sincerely think Im being stalked. Other than that, Im not doing anything tonight."
While Credo was talking, the human picked up a sushi roll and eyed it none to carefully before popping it into his mouth. He still didn't know what it was. It tasted good, though, and West could stomach just about anything. Frowning at his plate, he noticed there was only a little bit of wasabi on the side and pulled a face. He might have a quiet voice, be completely charming, and look innocent enough, but he liked wasabi very, very much. He considered calling the waitress back over and asking for more, but he didn't speak much French, and, on top of that, he was a little worried about seeming greedy in front of the demon.
"Yeah, girls get clingy. I try to stay away." West shrugged. It was true that he liked boys much more than girls, but 'trying to stay away' didn't exactly describe his policy towards either of them -- the policy being something along the lines of 'flirting only, but as much flirting as you damn well like'.
"Maybe you can help me get rid of this girl. I don't care how you do it. Just get her off my ass," Credo said.
West paused, setting his chopsticks down lightly and leaning back in his chair. For a minute he just looked at Credo rather solemnly, thinking. Then a grin split his features and he laughed, ruffling his hair with one hand. "All right," he said. "All right. As payment for dinner, then. Do you know where she is right now? Or have a picture of her I could see?" The human winked slyly and popped another sushi roll into his mouth, looking for all the world like a cartoon character with his crazy green hair and wide eyes.
There were already several ideas brewing in his head. Obviously the girl was being extremely annoying, since Credo had said he didn't care how she was gotten rid of. Someone else might have just gone up to her and knocked her unconscious or even killed her -- but West was too classy for that. He did like a show, though. One idea in particular was quickly developing, but there were a lot of things that would ruin it. For one, the girl had to be somewhere nearby, somewhere in a public place.
"Just to clarify," West said, chasing a piece of rice around his plate idly. He had already eaten more than half what was on the large platter. "You don't care how? Like, really?" That was the biggest deal for him; there was a reason why so many people got mad at him. He didn't think things through all the way, and to him, the flashiest, coolest way to do something was the option he went with every time. But it would really bother him if one of his friends like Credo ended up getting mad at him for an idea, so he just wanted to clarify once more. "'Cause I've got an idea, but you'll have to just go with it."

"Yeah, girls get clingy. I try to stay away." West said, shrugging as he finished his statement. Girls did seem to be a lot more clingy nowadays now that Credo gave it a little bit of thought. Sometimes grown women would act like teenage girls. Totally disappointing when you were just thinking she could be the one. But oh well. Credo could reel in plenty more fish from this sea if he very well chose.
Just as Credo proposed for West to get rid of his nuisance, he paused and leaned back in his chair. He gave Credo and look before grinning. his features and he laughed, ruffling his hair with one hand. "All right," he said. "All right. As payment for dinner, then. Do you know where she is right now? Or have a picture of her I could see?" Good thing he was too lazy to erase the pictures she took of herself with his phone while he wasn't looking. Credo took out his phone again, sliding the screen up to reveal an alternate keypad and navigating his way through the menus until he came to a good picture of the girl.
She was blonde, with big blue eyes and faint freckles dotted her cheeks. Her facial features were not all that unique. She looked like any other college graduate looking girl would these days. But she was easily notable by her awful obsession with the color pink. If one were to be walking down the sidewalk through a swarm of people during rush hour in New York's Time Square, you'd still spot her. She wore hot pink everything. She stood out like a pink highlighter in a pile of black highlighters.
Credo handed the phone to West so he could get a good look of her. "I wouldnt be surprised if she was standing outside watching this place right now.." Credo said, a bit of irritation easily notable in his tone. It was nothing something that Credo did often, but he would constantly trail his fingers through his hair when he was stressed or bothered by something. And that's exactly what he was doing. Because right now he felt extremely uncomfortable knowing someone could be watching him right now. It creeped him out more than anything right now. It had never bothered him so much before, but there was something about this one that didn't sit right with him. He was positive she was just a sex crazed human that just wanted to get laid, but this was way over the top right now. Not only that, but it was extremely embarrassing. "Just to clarify," West continued, "You dont care? Really? Cause I've got an idea and you'll just have to go with it.""No. Do whatever you have to do. Notes: Never fear, West is here! West reached out for the phone, holding it a little ways from him as he looked at the picture from over the bridge of his nose. She wasn't particularly interesting-looking -- she didn't have orange hair or pink eyes or anything -- but she was very pretty. The human frowned a little bit; he could imagine Credo bringing home a lot of these kinds of girls. His eyes strayed to her clothes, then back up to her face again. Pink... Wracking his mind, West tried to remember whether he had seen anyone wearing the same alarming shades of pink as the girl was.
"I wouldnt be surprised if she was standing outside watching this place right now," Credo said, which earned him a frowning glance from West. The human didn't like it when people talked while he was thinking. Furrowing his brow and picking up his chopsticks, he played with them, clicking the ends together. Outside the window, some pedestrians were making an oddly large amount of noise, drawing his attention. West turned his gaze to the group of boys that had been making the noise. They were being shuttled out of the area quickly by a few responsible-looking adults. That spectacle over, his attention wandered a little ways over.
Then he saw her.
Oh. West blinked a few times. She didn't disappear. Well, damn. She still didn't disappear. She was sitting a table at a restaurant just across the street, looking alternately at her phone and Credo. The human cocked an eyebrow. The pink pantsuit she was wearing was really truly atrocious. Usually he avoided from commenting on clothes, but it was a crime to fashion. The girl kept texting furiously -- presumably sending them to the demon, whose phone kept vibrating. Making no indication that he had seen anything in particular, he turned back to Credo, handing him the phone.
"Okay, then," he said simply. "Just go along, yeah? If you want to know, she's just across the street. Don't let her know you see her. I mean, look natural. I'll take care of it, just wait a bit. When I give you the sign..." Only now did he smile. "Don't protest, don't look stupid, and, most importantly, never tell anyone. Now, not sure what this thing is that I'm eating, but it is really--" He popped the last sushi roll in his mouth. "--really good."
What he was waiting for wasn't too long in coming. The girl only looked over at them every five seconds or so. However, West put a bit of time into it, finishing his dinner, pushing the plate away, then looking at his watch. Once, her attention seemed fixated on Credo for a longer time. Seizing his opportunity, the human leaned forward quickly across the small table until he was close to the demon's face. "This'll work," he whispered quickly -- then kissed him.
It wasn't technically a kiss, not really, since West had pressed his lips tightly together beforehand, keeping it as chaste as he could. It was, after all, purely business. And business was to be taken seriously -- even when that business happened to involve kissing a very cute demon just to piss a random girl off. West had actually done something like this before, and it had worked marvelously, but the last person had ended up fancying him. That was absolutely the last thing on his mind with Credo. All the same, he lingered just a tiny second longer than he had intended to.
Out of the corner of his eye, he could see the girl stand up in indignation, her face as pink as her suit. Pulling back, he winked at her slyly. He was rewarded immediately: she threw down a few bills and stormed out, knocking her glass over for good measure as she left. West sat back down, laughing dryly, wiping his mouth with a napkin just to point out that he hadn't enjoyed it that much, not at all.
"I don't think," he said slowly, watching her go, "she'll be bothering you much. I apologize for that, but I've done this before. They do tend to... come back if they're not convinced. And I don't leave jobs half-done."

Credo ran another 5 fingers through his chestnut hair, agitated and uncomfortable. He hoped-- No, he knew West could get this done and over with. He had no idea why he was so bothered by this girl. Maybe it was just the fact that he was with company, and he wanted to maintain a decent figure of himself. He didn't want to come of as some man-whore who didn't know what he wanted out of a relationship. Because Credo hated a lot of things, but being labeled as something so degrading by other people sometimes got to him more than anything.
He glanced over the table at West, who was looking outside the window at something. Then a flash of hot pink caught his eye. Lucky him his stalker was way to busy texting him to notice he saw her. He quickly shifted his sight to the table to make sure she didn't know that he saw her. "Okay, then," "Just go along, yeah? If you want to know, she's just across the street. Don't let her know you see her. I mean, look natural. I'll take care of it, just wait a bit. When I give you the sign..." West said. That was her then. But it looked like West had a plan already. He nodded and played stupid, like he didn't see the hot pink mess texting furiously across the cobble street. Don't protest, don't look stupid, and, most importantly, never tell anyone. Now, not sure what this thing is that I'm eating, but it is really--", he added and paused as he ate the last bit of food he had, "--really good.". The demon chuckled a little at that last bit and hoped that whatever West had planned would do the trick. He wanted his privacy back right about now. Once the girl's attention was on Credo again, West took a look at his watch. He leaned over the tiny table and said "This'll work.", before closing the gap between their faces. The twos' lips met in a kiss and Credo's cheeks became as red as the ripest tomatoes. This was totally unexpected, yet totally expected. He did say he had an idea that would work after all. After the kiss was done, West sat back in his chair as if nothing happened. A dry laugh escaped his lips as he did so. Credo was frozen in place, blinking wide amber eyes full of pure surprise. That was... awesome. He felt all warm and fuzzy inside, like the kind people describe in movies. Like the kind when they had a crush. He didn't want to show it, but it was nearly impossible to hide now. The flustered demon stared down the table again, still blinking and holding a ridiculously flabbergasted expression. I don't think," he said slowly, watching her go, "She'll be bothering you much. I apologize for that, but I've done this before. They do tend to... come back if they're not convinced. And I don't leave jobs half-done." he stated. This made Credo blush even more as he stared, wide eyed once more. He blinked more, unable to find his tongue in order to talk. His thoughts were scrambled as if he had steered a ship into a radar jamming signal. He sat and remained silent. But at least that creepy bitch was gone.
