Senseless Denial, We spun like birds on fire right down towards the residence and i I took all that I desired even crooks have to pay the rent We swam like rats on fire right, right down the reservoir We took all that we could carry but we tried to carry more . finally, finally! after years of slumber, finally was she free. the figure walked out of the cave eyes searching everywhere. the ice blue orbs took in everything they saw. the colors, the smells everything was so wonderful. it has been such a long time since she has taken a breath of air. the sun light washed over her skin and she shivered a bit from the warmth. golden blond hair danced in the breeze that played with her. the female grinned showing pointed canines as her eyes lit up with curiosity. "oh fuck yeah!" the words came out as an excited roar as the female threw her arms into the air. things uncurled themselves from behind her. long flowing tails moved behind her. their bloody color looked lighter in the sunlight and the female grin grew. ears swiveling on the top of her head, she looked around once more.
. what wonder. what joy! the queen had told her to rest up for a few years while she ran things and now she was back. making her way down the mountain, she let her fingers brush the leaves and trees of the forest. her senses were just alight with life. being shut off for so long really took a toll on her and she hadn't realized it. perhaps we should slaughter some creatures? to celebrate your awakening? the hound laughed at her and the laughter echoed inside her hair. scoffing the female simply ignored the vile creature. soon she found a small town and couldn't help but grin as she saw all the people it contained. how wonderful! they were really repopulating themselves now. and the forests were positively beautiful. "perhaps almost killing off humans has it's perks. this world looked beautiful." as she walked through the town, the demoness could careless if people looked at her funny.
. perhaps they thought she was a bad shapeshifter, who didn't fully turn back human. whatever the case may be she honestly didn't give a damn. she was finally free. free! the female danced her way down the street and stopped by a couple walking down it. "excuse me but could you tell me where I am?" a smile crossed over her face, this one was sweet and genuine. the couple smiled back at her. "why you are in panama." the woman responded. "oh excellent" the female responded as she waved goodbye to the couple. she headed out of the town and the minute she was at the forests edge he entire town burst into flames. screams filled the air as people burned alive. there was an explosion and it didn't take long for the small town to be nothing but a pile of ash. "it feels great to be back." all the while the female grinned and disappeared in the forest. WORDS;; 496 TAGGING;; open NOTES;; bwhahaha look who came to play~ |

There was a time when the utter devastation suffered by England was Ken Hyperion's darkest example of the tragedy which had befallen the human race. However, the grief that the young adventurer felt as he laid eyes upon a land nearly devoid of all civilization was unparalleled. The small, mountainous nation was completely lacking in the sights and sounds of man, left to echo with the cries of wild animals. Indeed, if there was any sort of silver lining surrounding the heavy cloud of Panama's dreadful circumstances, it was that life was, one way or another, still thriving in the country. The hills were once more coated with lush foliage, and the spine of mountain ranges running through the center of the country stood tall, providing sanctuary for any airborne animals or walkers of colder climates. Countless rivers traveled, clear and swift, about the landscape, forming an intricate web of waterways that once provided towns and cities with precious power, drinking water, or fish. Nature, at least, had gone almost untouched- another valuable sign that humankind could yet recover. If nothing else, the warm climate was refreshing; Ken took the opportunity to cast off his jacket and travel only in his black, sleeveless shirt and blue pants.
What truly drove Ken to frantic action was the moment he came to a small town which had been ravaged by hellish fire. The town looked to have been built fairly recently, likely after the apocalypse. This did much to infuriate the boy and spur him to take the role of protector; mankind was beginning to rebuild, and someone or something had seen fit to stamp out underfoot. Makeshift homes burned to a fine crisp, shops surely owned by parents grateful for the chance to feed their children had been wiped off the map altogether, and most traumatically, charred bodies littered the ground. Ken was unable to keep from sprinting to the scene of the disaster, crushing leaves and twigs, hurdling over felled trees without missing a beat. A twinge of uneasiness was born in Ken's heart the moment he saw smoke, and that tension was unleashed in full when his fears were confirmed.
Ken instinctively began his Telekinetic onslaught on the disaster. Of course, the ability to fire highly destructive blasts of energy or hurl massive objects about was of no use in combating a fire, but the power to move water came in quite a bit of handy. As he ran through the town, Ken moved his hands in powerful, sweeping gestures, generating Telekinetic force to move water from a nearby river atop the flames which still burned brightest. If, at any point, he saw a house which still stood, he would dash inside without hesitation. Debris standing in his path, however heavy, was waved aside with the most casual flick of his wrist, and through his haste, at least a few lives were spared. "What happened here?!" He asked of whoever appeared capable of answering, running his fingers through his hair as a show of stress. Unfortunately, Ken received no information regarding a possible culprit. As far as anyone could tell, the town had simply burst into flames spontaneously, though it was revealed that the event occurred very recently.
In a sense, this was enough of a lead. Unfortunately, Pyrokinesis was a power possessed by a number of supernatural creatures. Ken did not wish to hunt down the wrong person, after all, and the ability to command fire was just not enough evidence. He would, ordinarily, be more concerned with healing the innocent and burying the dead as opposed to going after the one responsible. However, good fortune had, in some small way, smiled upon the young man, as at least one of them men he had managed to save was the town's doctor. He'll do way more good than I could've... Ken thought as he departed into a nearby forest. Further, whoever this was, they were interested in wanton destruction, unless that small, developing community had some valuable artifact. In any case, the murderer could certainly be expected to strike again, and Ken intended to intervene before that could happen. "Any Demons or psycho Fae or whatever, show yourselves!" Ken demanded, seemingly to the forest itself. "Try that pyromaniac shit on one more town- I dare ya!" This was clearly spoken as a challenge, making clear Ken's intention to stop whoever was responsible.

Senseless Denial, We spun like birds on fire right down towards the residence and i I took all that I desired even crooks have to pay the rent We swam like rats on fire right, right down the reservoir We took all that we could carry but we tried to carry more . the forest seemed to fall silent as she made her way through it. not even the big cats or the birds dared to show themselves. perhaps they hid out of fear. was it fear of a bigger predator? animals usually cowered in her presence, but they have never hidden this much. the thought made her grin showing pointed canines yet again. the sun shined through the leaves and warmed her skin. warmth. something that she would learn to cherish. after having been denied it for such a long time, she wouldn't take anything for granted again. a new smell filled the forest wrapping it's sweet tendrils around her. a male had entered? and he was ohhhh~. a dark grin came over her and she stopped in her tracks. a human boy! how very interesting! the female's form shimmered and melted away revealing a blood red and white wolf. the tails whipped whipped around behind her and the chains rattled around her neck.
. the beast pushed through the forest, charging at the human man. just when she was within sight of the man, she stopped and gave him a growl. with little effort, the beast turned on a dime and disappeared into the forest. a deafening roar came from the beast as she ran through the forest. her tails whipped behind her creating a path of foliage on the ground. paws thudding on the earth, the female jumped over downed trees and branches. one of her tails caught fire and lit a trail behind her as she approached another village. oh joy! "let's cause more chaos!" the beast barked out as she entered the village. screams echoed through the village as they saw the demon enter. all of her tails lit on fire and they whipped around crashing into buildings and burning them down. fangs glistened as she tore through the village. no one escaped her vicious rampage. bodies fell beneath her rage. blood soaked the streets. what sweet sounds filled her ears.
. as buildings burned and people died, the females form shimmered and reappeared. the wolf no longer stood in the middle of the town. it was now the female with the ears and tail. "dare me to burn down another town? you want to put more lives on the line human boy." the demon called out raising her arms in the air. people ran in fear but they quickly burst into flames. dark hell fires began appearing everywhere. not a single person was left alive from her wrath. "know what you are dealing with human boy? are you scared?" the demoness's voice seemed to echo through the burning village and the near by forest. are you enjoying your little rampage? you haven't called upon my powers in quite some time. I thought you didn't want to kill anything." |
the hound echoed inside her head and the female simply brushed it aside. the voice was one she could easily ignore. she had been doing that her whole life after all.[/div] WORDS;; 496 TAGGING;; open NOTES;; bwhahaha look who came to play~

TEMPLATE BY KHRISTIAN OF CAUTION 2.0, LYRICS BY MODEST MOUSE

Ken was not far into the forest when he noticed that something was amiss, however peaceful his surroundings may have seemed. Indeed, the only sound which entered into his ears was, at first, the gentle, wafting breeze as it tenderly passed outreaching branches and shifted about the grass growing freely from the earth. In the utmost distance, running water could be faintly discerned- one of over five hundred such bodies scattered about Panama. This was the root of Ken's suspicion, as the ambient symphony of nature was once accompanied by the cries of wild animals. They once scurried about him, gathering food or stalking prey as they reaped the benefits of a world without man. Some had likely lived their lives without ever having seen a single human, which raised further wariness in Ken's heart when he noticed that they were nowhere to be seen. Save for the local fauna, the forest was barren where he walked, suggesting the presence of a being which caused primal fear in the souls of life.
This loneliness was not made to last, but it was certainly not to be broken by a friend of Ken's. A fearsome growl rang out through the forest, seeming to shake the earth to its very core. The hunter of supernatural beasts, having heard many such roars in his day- albeit none of such intensity, remained firm and resolute as he always did. Rather than show even the slightest hint of apprehension, Ken's eyes darted about in anticipation of the moment when they would settle upon the creature responsible for so much suffering. At last, he found a wolf whose origins were clearly the demonic realm; his prey, it seemed, had made no effort to conceal themselves, suggesting a high degree of power. As if tempting Ken to give chase, the wolf turned and ran in the opposite direction. As it disappeared from sight, it let loose yet another fearsome roar. "Coward! Get back here and fight!" Ken shouted after the beast, a charge of Telekinetic energy in the palm of either hand. His voice was practically a roar itself, not even attempting to conceal the young man's anger.
Knowing the he could not hope to keep up with the beast on foot, Ken leaped into the air and simultaneously unleashed a powerful burst of force under his feet. Nimbly, the tenacious warrior jumped through the treetops, using his powers to jump farther and faster than any man could dream while cushioning his falls with similar exertions of Psychokinetic power. While he still trailed behind the demon, Ken managed to keep pace and remain on its tail. That being said, he could just as easily have followed the streaking flames left in its wake. It wasn't long before Ken was brought to yet another village, having traveled an unknown distance from the site of the previous attack. ...Not while I'm around, you monster! Ken thought, gritting his teeth and dropping to the earth. Keeping his momentum, he hit the ground running, immediately breaking into a full sprint as he closed in on the village. Unfortunately, though he arrived mere seconds after the wolf, the chaos had already begun.
In place of the beast, there now stood a lovely young woman who, by all appearances, was around the same age as Ken himself. However, the hunter was momentarily blinded to her beauty, seeing only the carnage and destruction that she wrought. To him, she was the epitome of all that he fought against. "Dare me to burn down another town? You want to put more lives on the line human boy." Still, she taunted him, even as bodies fell around her, bursting into flame without warning as she exercised her tremendous power. "Know what you are dealing with human boy? Are you scared?" By this point, Ken's fists were clenched and his eyes locked in an unforgiving glare, his disposition having changed entirely from its natural state of confident serenity. His inner warrior had surfaced in full. However much he traveled the land and however many demons he had vanquished, bearing witness to such rampant sadism and disgusting violence always managed to throw Ken for a loop. "Scared?! I live to take down punks like you!" He bellowed.
Once the initial despair of seeing people burn alive before his eyes had died down, Ken's mind went into overdrive as he became single-mindedly fixated on stopping this woman from harming anyone else. Within a fraction of a second, an admittedly very rough plan was devised and thrown into action. A very small, passive aura of Telekinetic energy was placed around Ken's body. Such a slight exertion of his powers would be easy to subconsciously maintain, and while it would not shield him from a direct attack, it would certainly be enough to prevent this powerful demoness from causing him to spontaneously combust. However, this mental barrier served another purpose; it was to keep Ken safe when traveling at high velocities. His next move was to throw his weight forward while unleashing a far stronger, more focused blast of force behind him. This had the effect of rocketing Ken forward as though he were sprinting with superhuman speed comparable to that of even the swiftest Vampires. Intending to waste no time, Ken shot toward the demoness, planning to outright tackle her to the ground. If nothing else, this would distract her from her wanton slaughter long enough for Ken to engage her in direct combat.
